*Mariah's POV*
~2 weeks later~
"Drive faster!" Jamie yelled.
"Calm yourself! I can only drive so fast!" I said back.
"But I want to see Damon! I want to see him NOW!" she whined from the back seat.
I pulled into the airport parking lot. Jamie was unbuckled and out of the car before it was even turned off. Jeydon and I had to run to catch up with her. "I didn't have enough coffee for this!" I complained.
"Stop complaining and walk faster!" Jamie ordered.
I groaned and walked as fast as I could, which turned out to be faster than Jamie was walking. I turned around and stuck my tongue out at her. We all started running to the terminal. The only thing wrong with my plan to beat her to Damon was that I wasn't tall enough to see over or through the people and find him. So I just kind of pushed through everyone.
I saw Damon, he wasn't very hard to miss. He was wearing one of his multi colored sweatshirts with a bright purple beanie. I called out his name but Jamie was already running towards him and hugging him before I'd even moved.
I walked up to them just as they let go. I went in to hug him but he crossed his arms and shook his head. "What?!?" I exclaimed.
"No. I want a dramatic run-jump-hug-twirl from you too," he explained.
"But-"
"Do it or no hug."
I sighed and walked back to where I was before. I turned around, plastered a smile on my face, and called out his name again. I started running to him with my arms open and, this time, he actually hugged me. He picked me up and twirled me, just like he'd wanted. "Much better," he said when we set me down
"Good," I smiled. "Now can we go?"
"Sure but I'm driving," Damon said. He held his hands out for the keys. With a sidelong look at Jamie, I handed them over.
"I call shotgun!" Jamie yelled.
I knew it. He could have a dandy old time with Jamie in the passengers seat... not. HA! This would be good.

*Damon's POV*
I pulled the car into the driveway, resisting the very strong urge to reach over and shove Jamie out the window. Now I see why Mariah was more than willing to hand over her keys. She could have at least warned me.
As she unlocked her front door, I saw a smug and mocking smile. "Wow," I sighed. "You think you know someone!"
She just laughed and it sounded like she'd been holding it in. "You still love me," she giggled, pushing the door open. "I mean, you kind of have to. You're staying at my house."
"I don't have to. I could go to a hotel."
As if by reflex, she hit the button on her radio and Let's Cheers To This by Sleeping with Sirens blasted out of the speakers. I hit the button and turned it off. She flushed bright red. "Sorry. It's a habit."
"It's fine. At least it's good music," I shrugged.
"Well," Jeydon started, kicking off his sneakers and falling onto the couch,"You all know what they say about too much of a good thing."
"Speaking of them, Damon, tell us about the real life fairy tale that is meeting Sleeping with Sirens," Jamie ordered. She reclined the chair back as far as it could go and stretched out.
I told them all about how Bryan Stars and I had gone to their concert and how we just hung out with them and how normal but funny and crazy they were. Then, for the big finale, I pulled out my phone and pulled up his phone number. "Kellin Quinn's phone number, ladies and gentleman," I announced.
Jamie jumped out of her seat and Mariah pushed me over taking my phone out of my hands. "For real?" they asked skeptically.
"For real."
They both just stared at it for a while, and I was sort of worried that they would memorize it. "Can we call him?" they asked, Mariah clutching the phone to her chest. "Please?"
Then came the puppy dog eyes. I tried not to look, but I could still feel them burning holes into my head.
"Fine!" I caved. I took my phone back and pressed the call button.
"Hello?" Kellin answered.
"Hey, Kellin," I said. Mariah and Jamie squealed next to me. Let's hope they don't die now, I thought, and I knew Jeydon was thinking the same thing. He was sitting on the floor by the girls now, and looking intrigued.
"Damon! What's up, man?"
"Nothing much. I've got some friends who would like to talk to you. Is that okay?"
"Sure, man," Kellin said. I handed the phone over the Jamie and Mariah and watched amused as they tried to keep their cool.
