*Mariah's POV*

~3 months later~

2 am and I was just getting done Skyping Damon. I've been trying to get him to move up here. It would just be so much easier to just have him here all the time. We agreed that next time we saw each other, it would be when Jamie, Jeydon, and I would take a road trip down to see him. I guess it wasn't really fair that he was always the one who had to come up here.

Next on my daily routine was Skyping with Kellin. I had gotten my cast off a couple weeks ago and was ready for the concert in a few days. The greatest memories, at least for me, were made at concerts. This one would be even better, though. We had VIP backstage passes to see Sleeping With Sirens and Pierce The Veil. I had seen them both before, but now I knew the bands. And- even better- I was the girlfriend of one of the people in the band!

That's right. GIRLFRIEND. Kellin had asked me to be his girlfriend and things had gotten pretty good, if I do say so myself. It was weird to only talk to him over Skype at, like, 2 in the morning.

"Hey, baby," Kellin said when he answered my Skype call. I swear I would never get sick of hearing him say that.

"Hiya," I said back, making sure I wasn't loud enough to wake up Jeydon, who was sleeping on the floor next to me. I was on his bed, which made it kind of weird that he took the floor. I would have been just fine sleeping on the floor, but he insisted. It was even weirder, though, that he was already asleep and it was only 2 in the morning. "How was the concert?"

"Good," he answered. "I got a few pairs of underwear thrown at me while I was on stage. That was nice."

I rolled my eyes. "Lovely," I groaned sarcastically.

"We're going to be in Syracuse tomorrow- I mean tonight. You're going, right?"

"Yup." Syracuse was about 3 hours away, but it was the only show that they were doing anywhere near us. We had to go. We hadn't seen them in months. "Tell me how excited you are to see- Wait. Where are you?"

I was just beginning to see his surrounding, and they were: a gray brick wall with a rusting pipe up the middle, and two rusting metal walls next to him. "What do you mean?"

"You are skyping me from inside a bathroom stall!" I exclaimed. "You are either way too comfortable around me now, or you are just really weird and I have never noticed it before."

He shrugged. "None of those are options that make me seem like a normal person talking to their girlfriend."

"Good. They weren't supposed to. Why are you skyping me from inside a bathroom stall?"

He wasn't going to answer my question. I could tell by the way that he was scrolling through his phone. "I saw Copeland this morning," he told me. "My mom brought her out to see me."

"That's great. How was she?" I was really happy that he had gotten to see his daughter. As much as her mother didn't want to see Kellin, Kellin wanted to see Copeland. He had lost countless nights of sleep because he was worried that Katelynne wouldn't let him see her.

"She was good." He held a picture on his phone up to the camera. There she was, as adorable as ever. Kellin scrolled to another picture. He was holding her in this one and I don't think I had ever seen him so happy. "It was awesome to see her. And my mom, too." He put his phone down and smiled at me. "It'll be awesome to see you tomorrow."

"Don't forget Jamie and Jeydon. They're coming, too."

He nodded. "Of course they are. They're like your feet. You never go anywhere without them."

It was true, and Jamie and I were back to being best friends. There was kind of an unspoken tension, though. I always tried to avoid the topic of Kellin, even though she had her own boyfriend now. His name was Adam. They had dated in high school and been really good friends after they had broken up. Now, though, I guess they just reconnected or something..? I really didn't know. I wasn't one of those girls who gave and asked for details about everything. It seemed to be going pretty good.
