*Jeydon's POV*
My phone shook on the table, lighting up and showing Mariah's caller ID.

SOS. Kellin and I are stuck at the mall surrounded by fangirls. help us please
I sighed and rolled my eyes, chuckling just a little bit. Only Mariah could get herself stuck in this situation.

be right there. stay where you are and don't die
I ran outside and grabbed my sisters bike from the front lawn. I only lived about 8 blocks from the mall, which was about 6 blocks closer than Mariah and Jamie lived. I pulled my phone out again when I got to the parking lot.

thanks J! I love you! we're at hot topic, btw
I didn't need a text to tell me where she was. I could see the group of girls standing outside the store. I pushed through them all, spotting Mariah and Kellin sitting on the counter. She looked over and saw me, a smile spreading across her face. She swung her legs over the counter and pulled me through the line of workers working as guards to them, hugging me.
"Thanks, Jey!" she said.
I hugged her back. "Yeah, yeah. I know you love me."
"We kind of have to get out of here," Kellin pointed out. "How do you propose we do this?"
"We have two options," I said, holding up two fingers. "Number one: We can go and hide in the air vents until we can find a way to a door closer to the parking lot, then pull on ninja suits and do triple backflips to my sister's bike and your car."
"I like it," Mariah nodded.
"What's option two?" Kellin asked, obviously not that into the first plan.
"Number two is we haul ass through these girls and don't look back."
"I'm pretty good at maneuvering the crowd," Mariah boasted.
Kellin just looked at her, surprise and disbelief written all over his face. "Really?" he asked. If I didn't know her, I would probably think the same thing. She wasn't very big. She was just over 5'3" and couldn't weigh more than 110 pounds. However, despite her tiny size, she was aggressive, had bony elbows, and had one hell of a right hook.
She nodded and looked to me for verification. I nodded too. "You should see this girl at country concerts," I told Kellin. "Moving through a crowd of drunk old men and bitches in cowboy boots is her specialty. This little group of fangirls should be no problem for her."
"You listen to country music?" Kellin asked, suddenly amused. Mariah nodded. "Alright. I choose option number two."
"Really?" Mariah asked, wrinkling her her nose and crossing her arms over her chest. "I really liked option number one." She was really good at acting disappointed, and it was truly convincing until she giggled.
"We can come back tomorrow, me and you, and we can do option number one," I told her. "Okay?"
She nodded and grabbed my hand. She held her other hand out to Kellin, who hopped over the counter and took it. "Stay together," she warned, suddenly transformed into the tough girl at the concerts. She looked down at her hands, which were intertwined with mine and Kellin's. "This isn't going to work. I can't maneuver like this."
I pulled my hand out of hers, Kellin following my lead, and grabbed onto her belt loop. "Better?" I asked. She nodded her head and pushed through the wall of "guards" along with the screaming girls. Then we hauled ass out the mall and into Kellin's car.

*Mariah's POV*
We got back to my house, the radio blasting, only to see the bed of my dad's pickup loaded with an ATV and 2 dirt bikes.
"Oh yeah! We're going riding this weekend!" I cheered.
"Yeah, my stuff has been here for like a week. Did you really forget?" Jeydon asked. I really did forget. I don't know how, though. We went trail riding for a few days a month, we being me, Jamie, Jeydon, and my parents. This weekend, I was finally going to be allowed to ride the blue trails.
We got out of the car and walked into the house, where Jamie was already waiting for us. "Took you long enough," she mumbled.
"Okay, honey," my mom said, grabbing a suitcase and walking to the door. "Grab your stuff and- Who's your new friend?"
"This is Kellin," I said. He waved awkwardly.
"Is Kellin coming?" she asked politely.
"Do you want to?" I asked him.
"I've never rode anything like those before," he shrugged.
"It isn't hard. We can teach you," Jamie offered, grabbing her suitcase and following my mom out the door.
Kellin shrugged again. My dad walked into the room, carrying his duffle bag. "If more people are coming," he dropped a key into Jeydon's hand, "you're going to have to drive the RV."
Jeydon's eyes lit up. "No way, really!?!?" My dad nodded and went outside. "Yes!" Jeydon yelled, wrapping me in a hug. Since the day he got his license, he's had his eye on the RV.
"Don't kill us all," I told him.
We all got settled into the RV, Jeydon smiling brightly in the drivers seat. I took a seat at the table, opening a book and putting my iPod on. Kellin sat across from me, shuffling through my iPod. Jamie took the passengers seat, kicking her feet up and taking control of the radio.
My phone started to ring in my sweatshirt pocket. I pulled it out and saw a number that I really didn't want to ever see again. Why in the hell was Douche Bag calling me?
