I stand by the door and I look at t the five people. The girls whisper to each other and smile and I do the same thing.
"Sesi?"Dumisani says he and Calvin get up and hug me.'What are you doing here?"
"I came to see my big brothers."I say and they look at each other."What do you mean?"
"Sesi? What are you doing here?"Sandile asks and smiles.
He looks at me and pulls me into a hug."I'm here to visit,hayibo."
"Oh, okay."We pull away from the hug and he smiles."Sit down and I'll help you with the bags."
"No."He looks at her and lowers her eyes."I'm sleeping over at Calvin's house."
He nods and puts them at the corner of the dining room."Let me get someone to put them in the car."Calvin says as he gets up and goes to the kitchen.
"Sit down,sesi. I know Durban is a long traveling distance."Dumisani says."Oh,time for introductions."He turns to the left."That's Sithelo and that is Zenokhule."
I look at the girls and see look at Calvin."Where is Candace?"
"I'm asking myself the same question."Sithelo says.
"This is my sister,Dineo."Dumisani continues and I shake the girls' hands.
I feel a gaze still upon me,if it was fire it would have burned a long time ago. I turn my head,he is typing on his phone and then looks at me again."Hey, Ayanda."
"Hey."He puts his fist out and we fist bump. He smiles and I fake a smile.
I decide to go sit them and get a feeling of their energy."So,Dineo."I look up and see Zeno looking at me.
"What is opinion on the LGBTQI+ community?"She keeps a gaze on me and I feel my stomach knots.
"I don't know what to say. They are people too."
Sithelo looks at me."What if your friends is not heterosexual?"
"You have to support them regardless."I say and I see coffee on the table. They nod their head and I get up and go to the kitchen. Dumisani comes into the kitchen as I take an empty cup and pour the milk and sugar.
"You usually don't stay with Calvin, what's new?"Dumisani looks at me and I just shake my head."You know you can tell me,right?"
I nod my head and look at him."It's nothing serious. I just thought since I've slept here and your place why not Calvin's house?"
"Okay. Where is mom and dad?"
"They went to grandmother and grandfather in Pietermaritzburg."He nods his head and smiles as he holds the table using his left hand and puts his right hand in his pocket.
