I quickly look up when I see a figure sitting down and I decide to open the bedside and take out my gun.
I switch the gun on and aim it at the person."What do you want?"I try as my voice begins to shake."I said w-"
"Put the gun down, Zeno."The lights go on and the guy who I was not expecting. "Put the gun down!"
"Or else what?"I challenge him and he just shakes his head."What are you doing here,Dumisani?"
"I want answers to my questions."He sits down on the couch across the bed and I put the gun on the bedside after switching it off."How have you decided to deal with this situation?"He asks and I widen my eyes."Drugs?"
"It was only twice, Dumisani."I honestly say."After here I have decided to cut alcohol down and take it easy."He looks at me and smirks.
"Your parents know about this?"
"My aunty knows about it and that is why she is very overprotective towards me. Yes,my parents know since my grandmother told them."Dumisani rubs his eyes.
"Why would you think that we were going to judge you about this?"I look down."Look at me, Zeno."I look at him and my vision starts to get blur."I get that I can be this overbearing person but come on."
"I didn't want to be judged, Dumisani."I say and wipe my tears away.
"I understand what you mean by that and that is how I felt when I first got to know you. I'm sorry about that day as I shouldn't have been judgemental towards you."
"I'm sorry for not telling you about this but I feel like I should tell the girls first and then you should know second."He gets up from the couch and walks to me.
I look at him and he does the same thing."Can we please just cuddle and talk?"
I smile and nod my head."Come on."He takes off his shoes and hoodie. He gets in the other side and he wraps his arms around my waist. I sit on top of him as I lift my head and see him looking at me with his brown eyes."I missed you so much."I rub his lips while biting my lower lip.
"Don't do that baby girl."He says and I smirk."I want us to talk about us being on the same page."He says and I nod my head. I get off him and lay my head on his chest. I make sure to wrap my leg around him and rub his abs.
"What's up then?"
"How was your upbringing as the former mayor's child?"
"It's okay because I went to good schools,I had all that I wanted to have but I didn't get that feeling of being loved."
"Why?"
"My parents were always busy people and my routine was hectic. A driver took me everywhere I wanted to go. The maids were like moms to me because I talked to them about anything that was happening in my life."I smile when I remember one of them."I made sure to have a close circle of friends and they felt like family."
