Chapter 1 Part 2: 12 weeks.

Cassidy:

I wake up feeling surprisingly good. I don't feel sick or anything. I sit up rubbing my eyes. I swing my legs out of bed and stand up. I grab my towel and head into the bathroom. After showering and brushing my teeth, I head back into my bedroom going over to my wardrobe. I pick out today's outfit throwing it on. My bump is more noticeable now. I'm still trying to hid it because people at school don't know- neither does the press. I want to keep it that way. Me and Pel have decided to tell the fans at 24 weeks when we find out the sex of our baby. I'm booked in for my 12 week scan at 10:40am today.

I pull on my boots and head over to my dressing table. I only add mascara and concealer because my skin is looking pretty good today: which I am happy about. I brush my hair leaving it natural. Grabbing my bag and phone I head downstairs.

"How you feeling today?" My mum asks as she cooks a full English breakfast.

"Really good!" I say happily.

"Oh I'm glad to hear that!"

Me and my parents are gradually getting back to normal despite the fact that I'm pregnant. My mum fell pregnant at 15 with my oldest sister Sharron- but they put her up for adoption because they felt it was the best option. I just thought that they would be more supportive. But they are getting there.

Me, Alex and Dan sit around the island as my mum passes us our plates. Dan isn't really bothered that I'm pregnant- Alex is really excited.

"Hey daddy!" Alex says as my dad joins us.

"Hey pumpkin! Dan. Cassidy."

"Hey dad." I say looking down at the food in front of me. "Um I've got my 12 week scan today, can one of you make it?" I ask looking at my mum then dad.

"I can't, I've got work." My dad says bluntly.

I look at my mum.

"I wish I could hunny, but I'm meeting my friends."

"No it's okay. Don't worry." I say sighing.

I get up putting my plate in the dishwasher, grabbing my things and heading out the door.

I get a text of Perri.

'Still at this mornings rehearsal, can you meet me at Dancework?'

'Yeah sure. On my way.' I type.

I arrive at Dancework in 15 minutes.

"Hey Dani, Starr!" I say walking over to them.

"Cassidy!" Starr says running over and hugging me. "I can't believe that I'm going to be an Auntie!"

"I know!" I say smiling. "Keep it quite though."

"I will, don't worry."

"Hey Cass." Dani says. "Don't you have your scan today?"

"Yeah! After the boys have finished rehearsals."

"Oh cool, your parents coming?" She asks unsure.

"Nope." I say sighing. "They both have more important things."

"That's not good." Starr says.

"They will come to one." Dani says giving me a sympathetic smile.

"To be fair, I'm not bothered." I say shrugging. "I'm going to go in there." I point to the studio.

"Okay bye!" They both say.

I walk into the studio as Ashley turns off the music.

"Hey you!" He says turning to me.

"Hey Ash." I smile.

"Babe!" Perri says coming over and hugging me. "I will be ready in a minute."

"Where you off to?" Sam asks.

"Got my 12 week scan." I say putting a hand on my belly.

"That's cute." Jordan says.

I laugh. Perri comes back over with his bag. "Ready?" He asks.

"Yeah. Bye!" I wave to the other boys.

"Bye!" They all say. "Come back after I want to see the pictures!" Jord shouts after us.

We get to the pregnancy ward 10 minutes early.

"I'm excited!" Perri says squeezing my hand.

"Same!" I say kissing his cheek. "This is the first time we will see out baby!"

"I know. You look nice by the way." He says winking.

"Miss Baxter?" The doctor calls.

Me and Pel get up and follow the doctor into the room. I lie down in the seat and he puts cold jelly on my stomach.

"Look at the screen in front of you." He says.

Perri places his hand on my arm.

"Omg." He whispers.

We can see the faint outline of our baby moving on the screen. The doctor tells us that our baby is healthy. He prints off the pictures from the ultrasound and books us our next appointment.

After we've finished in there we head over to Starbucks. We order our drinks and sit in the window.

"I'm nervous about school." I say.

"Oh, you haven't told them have you." Perri says taking a sip of his drink.

"Nope, and now my polo shirt isn't loose enough to cover my bump! It's going to be noticeable." I say sighing.

"Well I'm sorry babe- people will find out. You've just got to be honest and confident." He places his hand on mine.

"I know." I say unsure.

We head back to the studio at 3pm after we've finished in town.

"Look Dani!" I say passing her the ultrasound photos.

"Aw! Look at the little one!" She says smiling. "Congrats!"

"Thanks!"

I follow Perri into the studio.

"How did it go?" Mitch asks.

"Really well!" Perri says proudly.

"Let's have a look then." Ashley says. I hand him the photos.

The room consists of 'wow' and 'another little dancer'.

Perri drops me home at 8pm. I'm really tired so I head upstairs, take my makeup off and change into some joggers and a vest top. I get into bed and go on my phone. I tweet :

I lock my phone and fall asleep.
