Chapter 2 Part 5: 1 Week Old.

(^Ava 1 week old^)

Cassidy:

"Please Ava, just go to sleep." I say rocking her trying to get her to stop crying.

"Look, I'll take her. You go get some sleep." Perri says taking Ava from my arms.

"But you need your sleep for tour." I say looking at him.

"I need to look after my daughter and my girlfriend." He says kissing me. "Now get back to bed."

I climb back into bed and wait until Perri comes back in.

"Thanks." I say snuggling into him.

"That's okay." He says kissing my head.

Ava wakes up once more in the night but she only needed a bottle. I wake up at 7am. Perri is already up and dressed. He's got a full day of rehearsals today, he has to be at the studio by 7:30am. I will probably pop over at lunchtime- only if they aren't too busy.

"Morning babe." He says as he brushes his teeth.

"Hey." I say hugging him from behind.

"Please come over to the studio today." I say spinning around to face me.

"Yeah I will, what times best?" I say listening to see if Ava was crying.

"Ashley text me saying you can come over anytime you want." He says kissing my forehead.

"Okay." I say going to check on Ava.

I push open her door slightly to hear her gurgling away to herself.

"Hey baby girl!" I say smiling at her.

I pick her up out of her crib and carry her into our room.

"Hello princess!" Perri says taking hold of Ava. "Your going to see all the boys today!" He kisses her and passes her back.

"Right, I've got to go now babe. I will see you later. Bye Ava!" He kisses me and leaves out the door.

I place Ava in her swinging crib and head over to the wardrobe.

"What shall Mummy wear today?" It's not cold today so I choose my blue high-waisted jeans, white v-neck tee and my leather jacket. Ava starts crying so I take her back into her room to change her nappy. Once I've done that I take her back into my room.

"Can Mummy do her makeup? Or are you going to stop her?" I say to Ava tickling her.

I sit down at my dressing table and add my normal makeup. Ava cries out a couple times, but it's just her making noises. I straighten my hair and grab my timberland boots. I go and check Ava and she's asleep. I grab my phone and take a picture of her. I upload it with the caption: One peaceful baby!xx

I lock my phone and head into the kitchen. I make myself some toast and a cup of tea then sit down on the sofa. I flick through the channels and take a bite out of my toast. As soon as I do so Ava starts crying- again. I put down my toast and go over to Ava. I take her into the kitchen and make her a bottle. I head back over to the sofa and feed her there. After the bottle she falls asleep in my arms, so I finish my toast and put all the dishes in the dishwasher.

Ava begins to squirm.

"Lets go get you ready!" I say pulling a face at her.

I place Ava in her crib whilst I choose her outfit. I put her in a little white flower dress with her tiny glitter converse with the ribbon laces. I grab her white cardigan and put that on her. I also put on a little knitted crown headband to finish off the look. I take another picture but don't upload it.

"Look at you! You little princess!" I say kissing her on the cheek. Then I smell it...

"Do I need to change your nappy again?" I say taking her over to the changing table.

It's about 11am by the time we are ready to leave the house. I place Ava in her tatty teddy pushchair, grab her bag, my bag and head out the door. People start to recognize me and ask about Ava. So it's about 11:30am when we arrive at the studio.

"Hey hun!" Dani says hugging me. "Hello little one! Don't you look cute!"

"Aha hey Dani!" I say smiling down at Ava.

"Anyway. How are you?"

"I'm tired!" I admit. "But it's worth it."

"That's true, go on through!" She says nodding towards the dance studio. "Shall I open the door for you?" She says walking infront.

"Thanks!" I say steering the pram through the door.

"Cassidy!" They say as I walk in. "Haven't seen you in ages!" Sam says hugging me. "So this must be little Ava!" He says looking into the pram.

"I will get her out so you can hold her!" I say putting my bags down.

"She's tiny!" Mitch says coming over.

"Yeah, I know!" I say hugging Pel.

"How has she been?" Perri asks.

"Good, shes had a bottle before we left."

"Okay." He says.

I go and sit up in the chill out area, just because it might be too loud down on the floor. Starr comes up so she holds Ava for about an hour. When she leaves Ava falls asleep in my arms. I go down and put her in the pram.

"She asleep?" Pel says coming over to check on her.

"Yeah!"

I wheel the pram into reception as its quieter. The boys finish at 6pm. Pel drives us home and puts Ava to sleep.

"Thankyou..." He says closing Ava's door.

"For way?" I say confused.

"For giving me the perfect family." He says kissing me and pulling me close.
