Chapter 9 Part 2: Ava's 1st.

Perri:

We all pile into our cars and head over to the indoor playpark. All of the boys have decided to come along, so it should be good fun.

After about 20 minutes we arrive at 'Funarena'. I get out the car picking up Ava and following Cassidy into the park. We are waiting in the entrance for the boys to arrive.

"Cassidy!" Someone behind us calls.

"Sadie!" Cassidy says hugging her.

She says Happy Birthday to Ava and passes Cass a present bag. Within five minutes the rest of the boys arrive. Mitch goes with Sadie onto the baby swings to spend some quality time with Carter as that hasn't happened in a while. The rest of us find a table and place our things down. I take my shoes off and take Ava's off.

"Right, I'm coming with you!" Jord says taking his shoes off.

All of us laugh as Jord picks up Ava running into the pen. I follow quickly behind.

Cassidy:

I sit down from laughing so much. Sadie and Mitch are acting like a couple. I roll my eyes and turn to face the boys left.

"So, is everything good with you two now?" Ashley asks.

"Yeah, everything's back to normal. I hope it stays that way!" I say raising my eyebrows.

"So do we!" Sam says.

After about 20 minutes Perri and Jordan emerge from the ball pit. I snort as Perri breaths heavily.

"Tired?" I laugh.

"I'm done in!" He says sitting down. "This is more tiring that rehearsals!"

I burst into a fit of laughter.

"What you laughing at!?" He says trying to act annoyed.

This sends me into more fits of giggles. I stand up, readjusting my jeans.

"Right, my turn!" I say picking up Ava.

I run into the play area climbing up the foam steps. Me and Ava crawl through the dome and bounce over the massive bouncy balls. I laugh as Ava tries to climb over one, but falls back onto her bum in giggles. We sit at the top of the park and look down.

"HEY Pel!" I call down to the boys.

"How did you get that high?!" He asks.

"Pel, it's not that hard! It's for kids!" I joke.

"That's it! I'm coming to get you!" He says racing away from his seat.

The rest of the boys and Sadie fall about laughing. They get out their phones and begin to record us. In about 5 minutes Perri finally reaches us. He picks up Ava and heads towards the animal area. This part is massive blow up animals and plants. You can basically do whatever you want in this area. They hide behind the lion. I pretend that I cant see them. When I get close enough Perri and Ava jump out shouting 'Rawr' at me. I act scared and run away.

As I'm running I look behind and run into something hard. I fall back onto the floor.

"I'm so sorry!" I say standing up.

"Don't worry about it sweetheart." A familiar voice says.

I look up quickly and begin to back away. I look behind but I can't see Pel. I look down and call Ashley. He doesn't hear me.

"PEL?!" I call. "ASHLEY!" I wave. 

I get his attention and he quickly rushes up from his seat. The rest of the boys sit and look up worried. I continue walking backwards, hoping to spot Perri. 

"If you come any closer, I WILL call the police!" I hiss.

"Babe? You okay?" Perri says coming around the corner.

I quickly shoot him a look. Pel steps in front of me. Ashley soon reaches us.

"Pel, Cassidy. Go down the slide now." Ashley says calmly.

"Perri, lets get Ava out of here." I say ushering him away.

Perri's feet are stuck to the floor. I try to push him, but it doesn't work.

"Pel! Come on! Ava doesn't need to be here."

Ashley snaps Perri out of his stare and grabs my hand pulling me away. We head towards the slide with Ashley following behind us.

"Your not hurt are you?" He mumbles.

"No, I'm fine!" I say as we push ourselves down the fast slide.

We head back over to our table. I get bombarded by questions. I answer them all with 'I'm fine!' I pick up Ava taking her over to the baby ball pit. Perri shortly joins me.

"Are you su..." He starts before I cut him off.

"This is Ava's first birthday, and nothing will stop me from having a good time!" I say.

He kisses me before jumping into the pile of balls. We end up having a massive ball fight. I fall back into the pit laughing loudly.

This day has been so good!
