Chapter 3 Part 2: Tour And School.

Cassidy:

Today is the start of Diversity's mini tour that lasts 2 weeks. It's sad that I'm not going to be able to see Perri in that time except for the night that I'm going.

Ava has started to get into a sleeping pattern, so I get more sleep. I wake up at 6:30am to wave Perri off.

"Have fun!" I say hugging him tightly.

"I will. But remember if there are any problems call me." He says kissing me.

"Okay." I say smiling. I kiss him again, holding back tears before he leaves.

I turn around and head into the kitchen. I place my bread in the toaster and push down the handle. Whilst that's toasting I head into my bedroom and grab my phone and compose a tweet.

I hear my toast pop up so I lock my phone and grab a plate. I butter my toast and add chocolate spread. I head into the living room and turn on the TV. I put on Teen Mom and watch the return of the original girls. I finish my toast then head into Ava's room.

"Hello Princess!" I smile as I see her roll over.

She gurgles away to herself as I turn on the fairy lights around her crib. I pick her up and spin her around. I take her over to the changing table and change her nappy. Once I've done that I take her into my room. We have put a little playpen in the corner so that we can put her on the floor and she can move around without us having to watch her.

"Mummy's got school today!" I say placing her in the pen. She just smiles at me. "Yeah. I wish I was that happy!" I say going over to my wardrobe. I pull on my black high-waisted jeans with rips in the knees, my school polo shirt and jumper and my black puma suades. At the school for young mums, you can wear whatever you like as long as you have the school polo shirt and jumper on.

I tie my hair up in a messy bun and head over to my dressing table. I cleanse my face then apply my minimal makeup look. I look decent- that's all that matters. I go into the bathroom and brush my teeth, then I apply my nude/ brown lipstick to finish off my makeup.

"Let's get you ready then!" I say to Ava as she rolls around the floor. I pick her up and carry her into her room. I put her on the floor as I chose her outfit. I put her in a flower vest top and some little jeans. I put her white cardigan on her because its quite cold this morning. Ava's starting to get a small afro- like Pels.

"Look at you!" I say taking her into the kitchen. I make her a bottle and feed her at the island in the kitchen. Ava is being a very good baby at the moment. She hardly cries- unlike a few months ago. Once I've fed her I place the bottle in the dishwasher then place her in the pram. I grab my bag, Ava's bag and my phone, then head out the door. "Off to school!"

I arrive at school just on time.

"Morning Cassidy!" My teacher says.

"Hey Mrs Greenwood!" I smile as I head into the nursery. "Hey Heidi!" I say taking Ava out her pram.

"Hey Cass, Ava." She says tickling her. "You okay?"

"Yeah thanks, you? How's Finley?" I ask passing the nursery teacher Ava.

"Oh we are both good thanks."

Heidi is another girl at Hurthcott school. She fell pregnant at 15 but was 16 when she gave birth. She never told her parents- her only option was to run away. She would have been kicked out anyway. Heidi has been looking after Finley (her 5 month old son)on her own in a kids hostel. She's had it bad.

"Just give me a call if she needs anything." I say to the teacher. "Bye Ava!"

Me and Heidi head into our first lesson: Maths. 

All my lessons go pretty quick. I get called out in English to see Ava as she was crying. My last lesson is Dance. I'm so happy! I haven't been able to dance in ages. When I get to the studio I change into my kit and learn a whole dance. It feels so good to be back where I belong.

 My day finishes at 3pm. I collect Ava from nursery and put her back in her pram.

"Do you want to see Auntie Starr?" I ask her.

I call Starr:

'Hey Starr, are you busy?'

'Hey Cass, and no, why?'

'I was just wondering if me and Ava could come over, she hasn't seen you in ages!'

'Aw yeah! I would love to see her! Head over now!'

'Okay. We're on our way.'

I walk over to Starr's house and stay there for at least 3 hours. It's nice to hang out with Starr sometimes. At 6:45pm I head home. Ava is asleep in her pram when we get home. I carefully lift her out of the pram and place her in the crib, closing the blinds but turning on the fairy light. I change into my pjs and lie out on the sofa. I grab my phone and text Pel.

'Missing you! Hope everything's going well.xx'

I lock my phone and turn on the TV- Jeremy Kyle is on. About 10 minutes later I get a reply from Perri.

'Hey babe! Missing both you girls too! Can't wait for you to come see us. It's going really well! Sleep well.xx'

'I love you xx'

'I love you too xx' He replies.

At 10pm I go and turn the lights off in Ava's room and change her into a onesie. I head into mine and Pel's room, take my makeup off and climb into bed. I wish Perri was here... The bed feels empty...
