Cassidy:

A shooting pain rushes through my foot travelling up my leg.

"Babe! Are you okay?" Perri says rushing over.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I sigh.

Perri pulls me up. I try putting weight onto my foot, pain rushing through. I wince as my ankle cripples under myself.

"Let's get you inside." Perri says turning around.

I jump onto his back as we make our way back into the studio. I sit down on the sofa as Perri gets me an ice pack. I take it from him placing it onto my ankle. I flinch as the freezing pack comes in contact with my skin. I shuffle back on the sofa and sigh.

"So much for me learning how to ride!" I say sarcastically.

"Practice makes perfect!" Perri jokes.

I roll my eyes and stand up, grabbing onto Perri. I hobble into Studio 1 and greet the boys. I get myself comfy on the mats and watch as they rehearse.

"Cassidy, can we run your 'Yonce' number?" Ashley asks turning down the music.

"Yeah sure." I say pushing myself up.

"Are you sure your okay?" Perri says looking unsure.

"Yeah, it's nothing." I smile making my way into the middle of the floor.

The music starts and I start to dance. I wince at the pain rushing up my leg. I can see Perri looks concerned. I continue to dance despite the sharp pain in my right ankle. I going through the moves in my head as I go along. Step, step, step, jump turn...

I collapse on the floor holding my ankle. Tears well up in my eyes. Mitch runs to the stereo and turns off the music. The boys surround me looking down worried. I scrunch up my face, putting pressure onto my throbbing ankle.

"Cassidy!" Perri says crouching down next to me.

He leans over and picks me up bridal style, carrying me over to the bean bags. He lowers me into one, sitting down next to me. I wince as my foot hits the floor. Jordan places a cushion under my ankle as they all come and sit on the floor next to me.

"Thanks." I say.

"What happened?" Ashley asks looking concerned.

"It's nothing- I've just sprained it." I say wincing as Perri holds another ice pack onto my ankle.

"You've not just sprained it." Perri sighs.

"Yeah I have. You guys carry on rehearsing- I'm fine!" I smile shuffling in the bean bag.

"You sure?" Perri asks.

"Yeah! Go on!" I say shooing them away.

I try to take my mind off the growing pain by plugging my headphones in and listening to some music. At 8pm Perri carries me back to the car and we head over to Starr's to collect Ava.

Perri:

We pull up outside Starr's and I turn off the engine. Cassidy undoes her seatbelt and opens the car door.

"Er, no! Your staying in here." I say raising my eyebrows.

"I'm fine! It's nothing." She says huffing.

I roll my eyes and knock on Starr's door. She opens it smiling widely. She hands Ava over after kissing her on the head.

"So, how come Cass is in the car?" Starr asks looking over my shoulder.

"She fell off her penny board earlier and hurt her ankle. She then continued to dance and collapsed in pain. She says she's strained it, but I think shes done something more." I sigh.

"Oh, tell her I hope she's okay!" She smiles before waving us off.

Cassidy:

When we get home I take some painkillers before heading straight into our bedroom. I peel off my clothes and pull on my pjs. I slide into bed and fall into an unsettled sleep.

~~~~~~~~~~
I wake up forgetting that I hurt my ankle. I push back the covers and stand up immediately falling into a heap on the floor.
"Ouch." I mumble to myself.
I try to pull myself up without waking Pel. I hold onto the covers and edge my way up the bed before falling back down. My plan didn't work. I sigh and mumble under my breath.
"Babe?" Perri says rushing around the bed.
"I'm fine! I forget I hurt my ankle."
Perri helps me up and sits my on the bed. He stands in front of me with his arms crossed across his chest. He sighs and crouches down next to my feet.
"Cassidy! It's twice the size as your other one!" He says standing back up.
I sigh and look at him.
"That's it I'm taking you to the hospital." He says pulling on his jeans.
"I don't need to go!" I say huffing.
I give in as Perri's not changing his mind. I lean over to my chest of drawers and pull on my Nike Pro shorts and plain blue hoodie. I slip my feet into my Nike sandals wincing in pain. I grab my phone as Perri goes and gets Ava. I hobble to the car and climb inside. We drive over to Pel's mums house and drop off Ava- she would be hard work in the hospital. At 9:30am we arrive at the hospital. Perri carries me inside bridal style.
At 11am we finally go into the x-ray room. I sit down and place my leg up onto the table. Within 10 minutes we are done and sent back downstairs to wait... again. I sigh loudly.
"All that waiting for 10 minutes!" I say annoyed.
"I know, but we need to know what's wrong with your ankle." Perri says placing his hand on my leg.
By 11:50am annoyed is an understatement.
"Seriously! How long does it take?!" I say loud enough for the receptionist to hear.
"You should be in next." She smiles.
"Thank God!" I say.
Perri looks at me and raises his eyebrows.
"Pel, you know I'm impatient!"
"Yeah, I do know!" He says kissing me quickly.
"Miss Baxter?" A nurse calls.
Perri helps me up and we head into a bare room with just a patients bed and a desk. I lie down on the bed and Perri stands next to me.
"Well, Miss Baxter, you have broken your ankle in two places. When you fell off the penny board you had only fractured it, however when you were dancing- that's when it snapped."
Great.
A team of people come in and begin to plaster my ankle. One man pulls at my ankle making me cry out in pain. My blood was boiling. Perri stands next to me stroking my head. I get him to lean down so I can talk to him without the doctors hearing.
"If one of them pull my ankle again, I'm going to say something." I say in a hushed tone.
"Is it hurting that bad?" He asks concerned.
Hot tears roll down my cheeks as my ankles feels like it's being ripped open. The same man tugs at my ankle making me clench my teeth.
"Right! That's it!" I say sitting up. "You know my ankle is broken, so why do you need to tug at it? Are you that stupid that you think it won't hurt?!"
The tall man just looks at me. Anger boils up inside of me.
"One more time and I will walk out of here." I say huffing.
Finally my ankle and leg is in a cast. I went for light blue as it was the nicest colour they offered me. They hand me some crutches and I swing out the door heading to the car.
"What about dance?" I question as Perri gets in.
What was I going to do?
