Chapter 21

- Next Day - 

Y/N's POV

Yesterday was fun with the boys and today was a decent length of a shift.

"Babyyy." Robin says but looking at me 

"Yes, my love?" I ask but looking over at him

"When do you want to go to the States to visit your parents? I am going to assume you probably miss them it has been a while." Robin says 

"Well we could probably go sometime next month in November." I say

"We could go for the Thanksgiving holiday since we don't celebrate it here in London." Robin says 

"Hmm, okay. I think we could both get some time off?" I ask

"Me and the boys can pause pretty much anytime we need to plus it will be going into the holidays." Robin says 

"That is true and I am sure my boss will let me get off some time at work. I do not know why he would not let me." I say

"If he says no then I will go in there and talk to him." Robin says 

"No babe you will not because I do not know what you might do or say." I say

"I would not dare to be rude or cause any disrespect." Robin says 

"You know your mouth so it is kind of unpredictable." I say but with a chuckle 

"I would not mess anything up for you though - you know that as well as I do." Robin replies 

"I get it but you know I think I can make it work for myself." I say

"I know you can and you have a voice for yourself so you do not need me. I will get some plane tickets booked for us then." Robin says but leaving the room to go to the phone 

"Hmm, okay." I say

I head into the kitchen and I began to make some food for dinner. Tonight I was making steak and potatoes in the oven.

"Mmm, what smells so good in here?" Robin asks but walking into the kitchen a few minutes later 

"I put some steaks in the oven and wrapped some potatoes in foil." I say

"Oooo that does sound good." Robin says but wrapping his arms around me from behind 

"I hope so because I do not know how long it is going to take for these to cook." I say

"Well in the meantime we could go outside and enjoy the fresh air for a bit." Robin says 

"That could be good." I say

"Let me help you here." Robin says but putting the steaks in the oven 

I put the potatoes in the oven.

"Okay lets go outside." I say 

"Jackets first honeyy." Robin says but grabbing our jackets 

"It is not that cold outside is it?" I ask

"It is 50 degrees outside right now how cold is that to you?" Robin asks 

"Oh well that I guess is cold outside." I say

We put on our jackets and walk outside.

"I think we should call your parents tomorrow morning. I did get the plane tickets for the weekend before Thanksgiving." Robin says 

"Okay, that will work. I am so glad you like to see my parents the way I do." I say

"Well we have to catch up with your folks before the wedding in December. I think it is going to be so cute to see your dad walk you down the aisle." Robin says but looking at me 

"I am excited but nervous for our wedding day." I say but with a chuckle 

We sit down on the backyard swing.

"I think it is going to be the most magical day. I wonder how much of a dream it is going to feel like." Robin says 

"It is going to feel like a dream." I say but laying my head on his arm

"Most likely so." Robin says but playing with my hair 

"How long do you think the steaks will take to cook?" I ask

"I think like 2 or 3 hours so since it is like 3 now so like 6 or 7 it should be cooked I would say." Robin says 

"Okay." I say

"Do we want to go visit my parents tomorrow?" Robin asks 

"I think that would be good since I am off tomorrow." I say

"Oh good that is right you are free tomorrow." Robin says 

"Yes, it is nice when my days off come up and I am able to do things." I say

"It is such a nice surprise when you are able to be off." Robin says 

The temperature dropped some more as we sat on the swing.

"Damn, the temperature dropped you can feel it in the air." Robin says 

"I know - I wonder why the temperature is dropping so quick." I say

"I have no clue but maybe we should go inside my love." Robin says 

"But it is so nice to be able to get fresh air out here." I say

"And if it starts raining  are you going to be running in like a crazed person with wet clothes?" Robin asks 

"Well, no but I think it is nice to sit here without the rain coming." I say

"Then lets go inside if we hear it coming or if we see it coming then." Robin says 

"Thank you." I say but with a chuckle 

Robin keeps playing with my hair and the smell of the food from inside can be smelt outside.

"We are about to have the whole neighborhood wanting to eat with us if they smell the food cooking." Robin says but with a chuckle 

"True - but we do not have enough to feed the entire neighborhood." I say

"I know but it would be funny if we had people coming up to the house asking to eat with us." Robin says 

"I think it would be a bit weird." I say

"I do not know how weird it could be it seems pretty normal to me." Robin says
