Chapter 82

- December 21st - 

Y/N's POV

Today is the day before the twin's birthday so it is going to be a lot of prep going into this. I think Robin wants something kind of simple this year which is kind of nice so it is just going to be the family. Maurice is on the same track which is good with me. It makes things easier. I think Liv and Lucas are coming to help me so it is going to be nice having some help. Liv is so good at decorating cakes so I think I am going to have her help with the cake. Lucas is a genius in everything so I think it will be nice.

Barry took Robin with him and the boys to go do some shopping.

"I think this is going to be so much fun for us to be able to do something together again." I say

"I know it has been so long since we have done something as like a small 3 piece group." Liv says 

"I can't believe we have not met up in so long but I am so glad we have done this now." Lucas says 

"I think birthday are some of my favorite times because they bring us all so close together." I say

"How did you get Robin to get out of the house?" Liv asks 

"Oh, Barry took him with him and the boys to go do some shopping. I do not know what kind of shopping but you know it takes care of that." I say but with a bit of a chuckle 

"I do think life is kind of funny in how things work out but you know it is kind of just how life is." Lucas says but blowing up some balloons 

"I think it is kind of crazy how we ran into one another at the mall a few weeks back though." Liv says 

"I know it was so crazy I saw you and then Lucas came up to me as well. It was like one of the best days I had, had in a while." I say

"I feel like some things happen for a reason and this is just one of those things." Lucas says 

"Did you get a job at the salon around  the corner?" Liv asks 

"I did yes I am so excited to be able to start right after the holidays. Where are you working now?" I ask

"I have been working at a couple of different places but you know what?" Liv asks 

"What?" I ask

"After you said you got a job at that salon I applied to see if they would take me and they said yes." Liv says 

"Oh my god  does this mean we are going to be working together again?" I ask but looking at her 

"Yes." Liv says but with a smile 

"Oh my god no way." I say

"Oh my god yes way." Liv replies 

"I am so happy you guys are going to be working together again. It seems like it has been so long since you know you guys have done so." Lucas says 

"I know it feels like it has been forever but it has been like a year or so? I think if I am not too wrong." I say

"I want to say you are right but then again this past year has been so wild. Half of it I recall what happened and then the other half is kind of like faded." Liv says 

"I know this year was busy for me too. What about you Lucas?" I ask

"One of the most busy out of the ones I have had thus far. Music is getting far but you know sometimes it is kind of just so much to think about." Lucas says 

"Oh gosh yes how is your music going at the moment?" I ask

"Lots of hits but not too many things for the album I am planning are ready. I want an album for the next year but like it is more difficult than I thought it would be." Lucas says 

"Is like figuring it out the hard part or like what do you mean?" I ask but putting the cake in the oven

Liv was making the frosting for the cake.

"I don't know I just feel like I am kind of lost in the whole thing. My manager is great and all but it is kind of hard you know." Luca says 

"Why don't you see if Robin could help you out or like one of the boys?" I ask

"That is actually a good idea they would be the best people to get some help from." Lucas says 

"And I am sure they would be excited to help you with it." I say

"See things will work out even if it just takes a bit more of time then you thought at the first time." Liv says 

"True." I say

"Is the cake done or is just baking?" Lucas asks 

"I just put it in the oven so it should be done in like a half hour." I say

"Ah good, the balloons are streamers are all situated." Lucas says 

"I am glad we is decorating this all now because it will be much easier tomorrow." Liv says 

"Yeah, that is true. And then you know to not overwhelm the twins." I say

"I think it is nice as they get older they have come to the point where they don't want so much major things going on for things like this." Liv says 

"Well yeah but birthdays are special and I try to make them that way for everyone I can." I say

"You make the birthdays what they are in all truth. The best planner is you when it comes to these kind of things." Liv says 

"You have planned out some of the best ones all of us have had." Lucas says 

I would smile at their comments. 

We would get everything done for the birthdays throughout the rest of the day.
