Chapter 121

- Next Day - 

Y/N's POV

Today I woke up with a message on the line telling me the store would be closed for the day. I thought it was kind of weird how it would be closed today but I guess it was not too weird. They told me they shut the store for a deep clean. They hired some professional cleaners for us to have the salon cleaned.

"I think it is kind of out of the blue for the store to be cleaned." Robin says 

"I know I am not too sure why they have the store shut all of a sudden. I wish I could find out why but I doubt boss would tell me anything." I say

"I mean I do not see why they would not tell you if you was to ask. I think it is interesting how people chose the times for the things they do." He replies 

"I think it might be because the holidays are coming up so the salon could be real clean for the holiday customers." I say

"I hope it is not something on a more deep level. I do not think it could be but then again it is a store so anything is kind of possible." Robin says 

"On a more deep level?" I ask but looking at him

"You know how some places say those kind of things. I think it is one of those things where they do it before they shut down a place." He replies 

"I do not think the salon would close. There has been no warning signs or anything." I say

"I was not saying that the salon is going to be closing down but you know how some people do it to their people." He replies 

"I think it is not going to happen. I would not know what to do if they shut down the salon." I say

"It would be okay it is not like it would be too hard to cop another job." He says 

"I know but it is not something I am planning on trying to figure out right now." I say

"I would agree. I do not think the idea of job hunting is good for right now and it is not ideal." He replies 

"But what if you are right? I would not want to be looking for a new job I like this one I have." I say

"I did not mean to make you worried about the salon coming to a close. I know it is not going to happen you do not need to think about it on another level." He replies 

"Well you did your job I am thinking about it right now and I do not think the idea is going to be out of my head anytime soon." I say

Robin would look at me and then he would sit on the couch and turn on the tv.

"I wonder how many places have shut down because of the problems they have had under the surface." I say

"Come here and turn off your brain for right now. I found this show for us to watch and I think you will like it." He replies 

"Are you sure I am going to like it?" I ask

"I would hope so." Robin says but with a chuckle 

"Alright then." I say but sitting beside him on the couch

"I was thinking we could make some sandwiches for dinner later." He says 

"I like how you are thinking about dinner and we have not even had lunch yet." I say

"Well for lunch I was hoping we could have some kind of soup." He replies 

"Oooh yes I would love to make some. With noodles or like a broth kind of soup?" I ask

"I was hoping we could do some sort of noodle soup." He replies 

"I think it is going to be nice to go ahead and make some." I say

"I think if we make it veggie based it would be good." He replies 

"I like how we have so many veggies just in the fridge." I say

"Same and I can't wait for us to make some stuff with them." He says 

"I feel like we have become such good cooks." I say

"I think it is nice we have become more in the kitchen good with our hands." He says 

"Samee. I know at one point in the kitchen I could make like one or two things and now it is kind of like I can make so many new things." I say

"Same here. Like growing up we did not make many dishes or things so it is nice to be able do these things now." He says 

We would get up after a few minutes and head into the kitchen.

"Lets cook." I say but getting out the items we need to make the foods 

"Should I cut up the vegetables for us?" He asks 

"Yes." I say but getting out the veggies out of the fridge 

He would grab a knife and a cutting board.

"We are going to make such amazing parents." Robin says 

"I know we will. And they will grow up having some bomb meals." I say

"Right." He says 

"Well, lets begin." I say but getting the things together to make some of the foods 

Robin would cut up some of the veggies. I would get the stuff started on the stove.

"I am excited for the colder months to come." I say

"I know me too the foods will be so much more fun." He says 

"I don't know why but like warm foods always make such a comfort in the body." I say

"I think it might be one of those things that brings you back to your childhood." He says 

"I think so too and I want to make sure that our kids have some meals that they will grow up enjoying. I want them to be in their memory." I say

"Aww, that is such a cute idea." He replies 

"I know, right?" I say but with a chuckle 

We would finish up our foods and then sit down to enjoy.
