Chapter 124

- Skips to November of 1985 - 

Y/N's POV

This year was going to be a little bit different. My parents would be flying in with my brothers. I think it is going to be a lot of fun having Thanksgiving dinner here in London. I know it is an American thing but we would be having our version here in London. Everyone was so happy to be here for this new version of this holiday.

"I wonder what it could be like being in Aussie again for the holidays. I loved how it was warm during the "winter" months." Robin says 

"I know it is so much different from how one place is to another. I always wondered what it could be like having a holiday in the "summer." I say

"I could imagine since you did grow up in America when it came to the holidays. Your warm holidays would have been the 4th of July in America." He replies 

"Yeah and the best memories of that are doing barbeque in the backyard." I say

"I think it is nice to be able to have small little things we can recall from the early days." He replies 

"I think it is yes. I don't know what I would do if I did not have the little memories  that I have from my childhood. I do hope we can raise a baby with a lot of things he or she recalls from the childhood." I say

"I think we will be able to make sure they have a good growing up. I mean look at us." Robin says but with a chuckle 

"I think it is nice to be able to think about life." I say

"Life is always a fun thing but like when you have a little life in your hands it is kind of a lot harder than I would have thought in the first place." He says 

"I know but we are going to be the most amazing parents that could be." I say

"I think we have a lot of good things we have learned and been able to bring into our own lives." He replies 

"I did not know how interesting it could be when it comes to learning about a little baby." He says 

"I think we are going to give this little baby the best kind of life she or he could have." I say

"I am excited to be able to buy him or her some new clothes." He replies 

"It is going to be  so much fun for us to dress the baby and get him or her some books. We have started the little library the baby is going to have." I say

"I want to think about getting a few more books." He replies 

"I think so too. I kind of want our kid or kids to be a big reader. I think it would be so cute being able to have a little reading night with them every single night." I say

"Oooh yes and then when they can ask questions and stuff it would be cute to be able to invest in those books." He says 

"I wonder what it is going to be like when they grow up. I want our kids to grow up loving us and not being afraid to come to us." I say

"I would hope they would grow up to be kind and happy but also healthy." He replies 

"I know they are going to be the healthiest little babies but also they are going to be happy." I say

"I know they are going to be the most happy little ones that can be." He replies 

"I always thought of this day in my life growing up and you know here it is." I say

"I know and we have been married for a few years now." He replies 

"I think it is so nice we have been together for so long. And here we are building this life together." I say but with a smile 

"I know and I could not imagine building a life with anyone but you." He replies but with a smile and looking at me 

"I know this is the kind of thing you find out in movies." I say

"I know we have the movie kind of love in this house." He replies 

"The best kind of life you could imagine." I say

"I feel like we are just rambling." He says 

We would pull out some board games and sit down on the floor in the living room with them.

"I think we should start with Monopoly." I say

"I think that would be the best choice for us. I think it is good cause this gives us something to do." Robin says but with a chuckle 

"I think playing games is one of those things we need to get into." I say

"I think that is true." He replies 

I would set up the bank and Robin would get everything else situated.

"I think being the baker is the fun part." I say but with a chuckle 

"I know how much you love doing that." He says 

"I know it is kind of my thang." I say

"Your thang?" He asks 

"Yes, I am using new slang." I say but with a chuckle 

"I think it is kind of nice to just get everything in order." He says 

"Yeah, meanwhile I am a math wiz." I say

"Yes, you are indeed which is something I kind of am but not in the same way." He replies 

"I get it." I say

We would go ahead and play the game for a bit of time.

"Dang you are buying all the places." Robin says but handing me some money he owed me for landing on my space 

"I can't help it you just need to get on my level." I say but with a chuckle taking the money

"I would but you won't give me a chancee." He says 

"I would but meh." I say but giggling

"Oh come on just give me one little chance." He says 

"Oh, fine." I say

We would continue to play the game until we ran out of properties.
