Chapter 42

- Next Day - 

Y/N's POV

I think Robin is changing up the plans we have decided on for Valentines Day. Tomorrow is Valentines Day and thankfully neither of us have to do anything with work. It is kind of nice how we are going to be able to enjoy the time together. I am not too sure what this man is planning on changing up but he is going to be changing something up.

"Do you think it is going to be fun if we do go to a hotel to spend the time together?" Robin asks but looking at me 

"I think it is going to be a lot of fun if we do then we could order room service and such." I say

"I am glad you like the idea since I did make the plans for us to go to the hotel. We get to check in today at 3 so it is going to be so good." Robin replies 

"What kind of things do they have for us to be able to do at the hotel?" I ask

"I do not know to be honest but it is for sure going to be interesting how things will be going." Robin says 

"Well what kind of a hotel do you think it is going to be?" I ask

"I booked us a suite so it kind of comes with its own kitchen and such. I think it is going to be so much fun to find out the things we could do also around the hotel." Robin says 

"What kind of things do they have around the hotel?" I ask

"We could go do some bowling perhaps we could do some golfing. Or maybe since there is a museum we could go study some history." Robin says 

"I feel like any of the above could be fun for us to do. I like sports like those and I do like to learn history so I am going to be good with any of the above." I say

"I also made us some reservations at a fancy place for us to have some dinner. And the hotel has breakfast for us tomorrow as well which is going to be so nice." Robin says 

"Wait, so are you saying this is a two party Valentines Day?" I ask

"What else do you think I could be saying? I think it is going to be so much fun for us to have two days to do this kind of this for us to celebrate. Plus, we got out of work early today so what else could be better?" Robin asks 

"I do not know but it sounds like this is going to be fun." I say

"Anything is going to be fun with you - you make anything and everything kind of fun. This is going to be such a joy." Robin says 

"You should be saying that about yourself not about me but it is okay." I say

"Okay well I think we should get to packing up our bags so we can be at the hotel in a few hours. It is 11 and the hotel is an hour and half away so we are going to have to drive a bit of time to get there." Robin says 

"Oh, the hotel is that far away from here?" I ask but looking at him

"Yes, I wanted us to be able to get out of our safe area for a bit of time you know? Home away from home is always nice." Robin says 

"Of course but you know things can be different." I say

We go and pack up our bags for a little get away.

"I think this is nice since we are not taking our honeymoon until the Summer. I wonder sometimes if anyone else does this kind of this you know." Robin says 

"Hm, I do think what we are doing is smart. We are not getting stuck in any delays you know." I say

"I know life is kind of interesting when it comes to planning out things." Robin says 

We continue to pack our bags and get everything we need for the night and the next day.

"What else do you think we might need for this little trip?" I ask

"I have no clue if I am being honest. I do think we might have packed all we might need and it only took us about an hour to do it." Robin says but with a chuckle 

"Well you can never be too sure when it comes to these kinds of things." I say

We put our bags on the bed and look at one another.

"What do you think we should do for the next hour before heading out to the mini road trip?" Robin asks 

"I think we should pick up the house a bit so maybe when we get back we do not have much to do." I say

"You always thinking in the smart ways aren't ya?" Robin asks 

"Well of course I do not like us to have anything or you know much to worry about." I say

"And I love how you always know what to say or to talk about." Robin says 

We bring our bags downstairs and then clean up the house a bit.

We pack some drinks and snacks for the road.

"I think this is going to be a lot of fun for us." I say

"Oh I do think so and I am so glad we are able to do something like this together." Robin says 

"Together is always the better ways to be able to do things." I say

We bring our things to the car and get the car loaded up with all we might need for this mini trip.

"I hope the hotel is as good as I heard it was. I wish there was somehow to see how a lot of people think about places." Robin says 

"I know it could be more convenient someday." I say
