Chapter 22

- The Following Month In November -

Y/N's POV

I think it is kind of crazy we leave for our trip to America next week. I think it is going to be so much fun and I am so glad Robin thought of this idea.

"What do you think we are going to need?" Robin asks 

"I know we need some snacks for the plane ride for sure." I say but with a chuckle 

"I was talking about in general love." Robin replies but looking at me with a pen and paper in his hands 

"I think we should get a bunch of travel size items it could be helpful you know?" I ask

"Of course I think that is going to be the plan for us today?" Robin asks 

"Oh going to the store to get the things we need for next week." I say

"Yes, of course that is what I am talking about." He replies but writing some items down

"When we get back from our trip we are going to be getting everything in order for our wedding which is kind of insane to me." I say

"I know it is going to be so much fun when it comes to prepping for the wedding." Robin says 

"My parents are going to be coming back with us. I think it is going to be nice having them around for a bit of time." I say

"They have a lot of the things we might need for being in America, huh?" Robin asks 

"Yes, they have everything in the house the way I left it. Or at least that is what they tell me I Do not know how true that is." I say

"I think it is kind of cute if they have not turned your room into one of those storage rooms." Robin says 

"I know because so many people do that with their kids  rooms." I say

"Yeah, that is why I think it is cute because they did not do that to you like the other people do." Robin says but standing up

"Right, so are we going to be heading out now?" I ask

"Yes, we are going to be." Robin says but getting his keys and wallet 

I grab my wallet and follow him out the door and to the car.

"I think this is going to be nice for us to be able to go on a little vacation for some time off." Robin says 

"I know it kind of shocks me my work let me off but then again it is not too big of a deal, you know?" I ask

"Right." Robin says 

We get in the car and head on over to the store.

"We need to get the basics like toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner, and more." Robin says

We get out of the car and walk inside of the store.

"I think we should start this way." I say but walking to the bathroom essential items like he mentioned 

Robin gets a cart and follows.

"I think this is going to be the best trip we have been on yet." I say but grabbing a couple of items 

"I think so too and it is going to be nice since your folks are cooking a nice dinner." Robin says but with a chuckle 

"Yes, I think the idea of a nice dinner when going home it is so comforting." I say

Robin grabs some items we are going to need.

"My folks cook so good by the way - I know you know but if you forgot this is going to remind you of the good food." I say

"Oh your mom makes the best turkey." Robin says 

"I know right and I am wondering if my dad is going to be making one of his famous pumpkin pies." I say

"Maybe you could ask him to make sure he does so?" He asks 

"I think I could - I am going to be calling them when we get home." I say

"So when we get home like right away or?" He asks 

"Yes, I think the time will be a decent time for us to be on the phone with them." I say

"You always think smart when it comes to the time zones. I would get so confused what am I saying.. I do get confused with them." Robin says but with a chuckle 

"Yeah." I say

"I think we should pick up some snacks in a few more days so they are good for the trip." Robin replies 

"You have a point - we also won't want to eat them now." I say but with a chuckle 

"I think now hair products?" He asks 

"Yes, to the hair products we go." I say 

Robin takes the cart over to the hair products aisle.

"Do you need to get some make up items as well?" He asks 

"Yes, we can get those after we are done here." I say but looking at him

"Hmm, okay that works for me." He replies 

We get our hair care products and some face products as well.

"I think this is going to be good for now." He says but looking at the cart 

"I think so too and this should be all here." I say but walking over to the makeup

Robin sneaks in some surprises in the cart when I am not looking.

"I think this is the items I need." I say but getting the makeup products I use 

"Is that all we need to get here today?" He asks 

"Yes, this should be good and then the rest we can come get in a few days." I say but looking at him

"Okay then lets go check out and head home?" Robin asks but looking at me 

"Yes, I think so." I say

We head to check out then bring our items home and into the house.

"So good to be back home." I say but putting everything down

Robin does the same.
