Chapter 52

- Next Day -

Y/N's POV

Yesterday's work was good and you know after we went and got some new books. I think it is cool when I get a new book since it is always a new adventure my mind gets to go along on. I think it is also interesting to have someone who shares an interest like this one with you as Robin does me. 

"I think we are going to be getting back into our little hobby of reading. I think it is good for our minds to be able to wander." Robin says 

"I think the same. It is nice to be able to have new things to think about and make our own when it comes to our take from the books we read." I say

"What is the book you have about?" Robin asks but looking at me 

"I have no clue yet but it is going to be interesting to find out more about the book." I say

We walk into the kitchen and light a couple of candles to make the house smell good.

"I think these candles are going to make the house smell so good." Robin says 

"Oh of course they will. I think the scent of rose and oranges is such a nice and calming scent." I say

"What do you want to do now we have had dinner?" Robin asks 

"You ask me this question all of the time but I am not too sure what we could do. I mean we could  read our books but I think that might be something we want for when we is in bed and trying to go to sleep." I say

"I am thinking the book thing could be like you said for before bed." Robin replies 

"I just know I do not want to go to bed so early like we did despite being tired because it is going to be messing us up in the head if we do." I say

"Yeah waking up at random hours in the morning is not the most chill thing for us to be dealing with." Robin says 

"It did mess me up a bit yesterday morning so it is a no go. I think we should just get comfortable and see what we could do." I say

"I mean we could always resort to the board games if that sounds like a good idea to you." Robin says but looking at me 

"I think that could be a fun thing for us to do if you would like to do so." I say

We get changed into comfortable clothes

"We could also look through some magazines for inspiration for our trip. I do not know if that would be fun though or how many magazines we might have." Robin says 

"I don't know do we have any magazines around?" I ask

"I have no clue I know you always get like some of those travel ones." Robin says 

"Yeah but if I have any right now I do not know if I do." I say but with a chuckle 

"I think the board games might be the best bet out of the two." Robin says but with a chuckle 

"Yeah, that is what I am thinking too." I say

"Oh, also how is Liv and Lucas doing? You have not talked about them too much. I want to know the gossip." Robin says 

"Well Liv has a man in her life now and Lucas still does not have a girlfriend which he says he is chill with. I think he wants one but he does not know where to look." I say but with a chuckle 

"I think he will find someone who matches his energy one of these days. And that is good for Liv she has always been so good to you and so supportive of us so that is nice to know she has someone to match her energy." Robin says 

"I think that it is funny how we talk about these kinds of things." I say

"Oh, I know it is nice to be able to though. I am not too sure how things could go like this for others but I love how close we are." Robin says 

"I know." I say but sitting on the floor 

We set up the board game of choice and lay it all out getting it all put together and organized.

"I think this is going to be fun for us. I am not too sure when the last time we did this was in all honesty." Robin says 

"I do not know either. I just know it has been a bit of time and I am glad we can do this again." I say

Robin sits on the floor across from me and on the other side of the board game.

"I know I am going to beat you in this game of Monopoly." Robin says 

"I do not think you know who you are messing with." I say but looking at him

"Oh, I know the player I am up against and she is not the best when he comes to these games." Robin says but joking in all honesty

"Mhm, sure you will win this. I know you will because how would you not?" I ask but looking at him

"Oh so now you are having faith in me? What is this going on here?" He asks 

"Oh you know how it goes sometimes life is kind of interesting when it comes  to trust and honesty." I say

"Of course I know you do not think I am going to win but it is going to come to a shock to you when I do win." He replies 

"I know it is going to be cool for you to know." I say

"I think we should just go for it don't you think?" He asks 

"I think it is going to be fine if we do begin." I say

"Game on." He replies
