Chapter 67

- Next Day - 

Y/N's POV

Today was another long day but it is okay that is life. I think there is sometimes at night I need to sit back and relax. For some reason today when I got home Robin is not here so this is kind of weird since he did not tell me he would not be here when I got here. It is so quiet in the house right now so it is kind of concerning. But, I think I am going to be calling Lucas for him to maybe come over if he is going to be free right now. I think he would come if I called.

I would call Lucas up and he would agree to come over and I would wait for him by sitting on the couch with the tv on.

Lucas would knock on the door and I would let him in.

"Hi Lucas, I have missed you." I say but hugging him and then letting him in 

Lucas would come inside and I would shut the door behind him.

"How have you been?" Lucas asks but looking at me 

"I have been good for some reason Robin is not home and he has not told me about anything since he was gone. I did not know he would not be here." I say

"Oh, that is interesting I wonder if he is not with his brothers?" Lucas asks but sitting on the couch

"I mean I think he might be but it is not like him to tell me these things." I say but sitting beside him

"Maybe he got caught up in his work you know being an artist that does happen to some people." Lucas says 

My brothers did come in and I have talked to them a bit this morning but they was exploring throughout the day and would come by at like dinner time.

"Yeah, maybe. I know my brothers came in yesterday so I guess it could be possible he and the boys went to have them explore." I say

"Well yes maybe Robin and the guys took the boys out to explore the town so they would not get lost. It is like him to help others out you know." Lucas says 

"I know but I just wish he would have told me you know." I say

"Well, I am sure he will show up soon." Lucas says 

"You are right." I say but going into the kitchen

"What are you doing in there?" Lucas asks but looking at me as I walk in the kitchen

"Getting some tea and cookies." I say but making some tea 

"Ooo, sounds like so much yum." Lucas says but sitting back on the couch correctly 

I would get the tea and bring some cookies on a plate heading back into the living room.

"Well, this is kind of nice it is just you and me." Lucas says 

"It has been quite a bit of time since we have been together alone like this, huh?" I ask but sitting on the couch and putting the stuff on the coffee table 

"Yes, it has been and I have missed you so much." Lucas says

"I have missed you too." I say

"Life has been so different since you know you got your man and stuff. But mainly since you guys got married this past December. I am so happy for you but you know it is not the same as it was." Lucas says but taking a cookie 

"I know life has become so much different since. Everyone is kind of growing and expanding as life goes on so maybe it is one of those things." I say

"I do not know but do you think there is some way we could hang out like we used  to more often?" He asks 

"I think we could make that happen. It would not be too hard just have to do in between our jobs and it would be nice to do it." I say

"I think so too and sometimes I wonder if life does not catch us off guard. At one point I did think it would be us to end up together but you know that is not the case." Lucas says but sipping his tea 

"You thought we would end up together?" I ask but looking at him

"Yeah, we always seemed like we was perfect for one another but then again one thing led to the other and here we are." Lucas says 

"Oh, I did not know that was how you thought about things." I say

"I think about it all of the time which is why I have never found someone to date. I always think maybe someday." Lucas says 

"Well, I am sorry Lucas but I will not be getting a divorce." I say

"I know I just have to realize it you know." Lucas says 

A knock at the door is heard I would go over and open the door.

It was the brothers Gibb and my brothers all standing outside the door rain soaked.

"Oh my god come in you guys." I say but letting them all in 

They would all come inside of the house.

Lucas would go grab them all towels and bring them each one.

"What were you guys doing out there in the rain?" I ask

"We was exploring and showing your brothers around and then it began to pour so now we is here." Robin says but drying his hair off 

"Okay, well that is one way to be soaked in the rain." I say

Everyone would dry themselves off.

The brothers Gibb would go change shirts since they all had shirts here.

Ethan and Grayson would go change as well since they had their suitcases with them.

They were staying with us this time which is also why it was kind of weird nobody was home earlier at all.

"I think this is kind of interesting how this has turned out." I say but with a chuckle 

"Uh yes I think it is interesting. I did not expect this to be the reason why they was not here." Lucas says but with a chuckle 

"Well then that is one day." I say but still chuckling 

"You guys laugh at everything, huh?" Mo asks 

"Yes, I think so to be honest with ya." I say
