Chapter 104

- Next Day -

Y/N's POV

Today was a rather long day at work. It seemed like the day has been dragging on forever. Me and Liv keep checking in with one another to see how the other is doing. We both think this day is going on forever which is kind of insane. I was hoping today would have been one of the quick ones but people keep coming in. I do get it though cause it is a Monday. I think it is kind of nice on Mondays but you never know whether it will be busy or slow.

"I think it is kind of insane how it is 3 and we have so many people coming in still." I say

"I know I thought it would have died down a little bit or at least a bit by now. I thought the mornings would be the easiest but not even." Liv replied 

The door rang with the little bell that was on it to let us know customers are coming in. This face was familiar.

I would look over at the door and it was Robin.

"Hi Y/N." Robin says so he could act professional in the work place for me  

"Hi Robin, what are you here today for?" I would ask

"I am here to ask how your day is going and if we could get a little trim on this hair of mine." Robin says 

"Of course, it can work." I say

We would walk over to my station and I would sit him down in the chair for me to get his hair done.

"I think this is going to be nice." Robin says but looking in the mirror as I prepped everything for him

"What kind of cut? Anything in specific you would like for me to do with your hair sir?" I ask

"Just anything you think my wife might look." He replies but looking in the mirror 

"Well a small little trim I think she would like." I say but beginning to cut his hair 

"She was supposed to be home around 2:30 which is why I am kind of worried about her. Do you think she will be home soon?" He would ask

"Well she might be held up at her job. What kind of job does she have?" I ask

"I think she has a salon job but I could be wrong." He replies 

I thought it was funny how he was doing this whole thing to just make fun. I thought it was kind of funny.

"Well, she might be home if you did not come here. What if you missed her since you came here?" I ask

"Well, I think she might just be you so I might not have missed her." He replies 

"Ah, yes. I have been so busy or else I would have let you know I was going to be late. I did not know or think twice." I say

"I can see it has been kind of non stop." He replies 

"I think we finally hit the dead spot. And we close in less than 3 hours so it should be good from here on." I say

"And your other workers should be good without you?" He asks 

"Yes, I am supposed to leave here soon. You are going to be the last one of the day for me." I say

"It is nice we are finally going to be getting out of here." Liv says but walking on over 

"I know today has been just so hectic." I say

"Yeah." Liv says but returning to her station and cleaning everything up for herself 

"Did you actually need a cut or did you just come in cause you got worried about me?" I ask but looking at him after finishing his hair 

"I needed a nice cut this one has been driving me insane. It got too long for me." He replies 

I would finish him up and style it up a bit for him.

"I think it is nice how you is my stylist. I have always loved that since you know the longest I can recall now. And you get to do my brothers hairs too." He replies 

"Ah yes the ones who always make the salon's fun." I say but with a bit of a chuckle 

"Oh and tomorrow they might be coming in for some hair cuts. I do not know for sure though." He says

I would get him checked out and everything.

"Ah, how fun could that be for me and Liv." I say

"I do not know who they want for who to work on but I am sure it will work out when they get in here tomorrow." He replies 

"All I want to do is get home and go to sleep." I say

"Well you should have some food more than likely. I think it could be good and if you want we could grab something on the way home?" He asks 

"But we will be in different cars." I say

"Nah, Barry dropped me off so I could go home with you in the same car." He replies 

"Oh, that was nice of him to do that for you." I say

"I know we have gotten kind of close again which is kind of nice for me." He replies 

I would clean up my area and get everything in order for tomorrow so I had nothing left to do.

Liv had left a few minutes before.

"I think it is time for us to be on our way." I say

"Thank goodness." He replies 

We would head out the door and into my car.

"I am driving." He replies 

"Thank you because I am so tired. I do not think it would be good for me to do so." I say

"I am so glad I came you look like you are kind of out of it now." He replies 

"Eh that is kind of how work goes but you know life goes on." I say

"Your job is hard I know my love." He replies but giving me a kiss 

I would return the kiss and we would be on our way.
