Chapter 12

- Next Day - 

Y/N's POV

Today we are going to be carving pumpkins. We did this with the boys last month but now me and Robin are doing it as a little date for us. We have some tea and our pumpkins so I think this is going to be fun.

"I made some pumpkin bread today while you were at work." Robin says but looking at me 

"Ooo, you made bread?" I ask but looking at him

"Yes." He says but bringing out a container than held it he had cut it up for us 

"Ahh, you are getting so good with things in the kitchen." I say

"Well take a piece and tell me if you think it is good or not. I think it is pretty good but you know that is just me." Robin says but opening the container 

I grab out a piece and take a bite.

"Ooo, this is so good." I say but eating the bread 

"Good." He says but with a smile 

"Are we ready to get started on these pumpkins?" I ask but looking at the pumpkins on the counter 

"I think so yes." He says but bringing out the knives and carving tools 

"Do you know what you are going to do on yours yet?" I ask

"I do but I am not going to be telling you - how do I know you won't steal it from me?" He asks but with a chuckle 

"Ugh, I would never." I say but getting a knife to cut the top off the pumpkin

We cut the tops off of the pumpkins and carve out the insides of the pumpkins.

"I think this is going to be cute." I say but looking at the pumpkin

"What are you going to doing on yours?" He asks 

"Why would I tell you? You did not dare to tell me so nooo." I say but sticking out my tongue at him

"Fair point." He says but starting on his design

I start on my design and we work on our pumpkins for a bit of time until we are finished with them.

"I think this looks so good." I say but putting the candle in you could hear sarcasm in my voice 

"You sound a bit sarcastic about your pumpkin." Robin says but putting a candle inside of his 

"I think it does not look as good as I had thought it was going to but it is okay." I say

"I am sure it looks cute would you care to show me?" He asks but looking at me 

"Okay, we reveal at the same time." I say

"Deal." He replies 

We count down and reveal our pumpkins to one another.

"Aww, that is so cutee." He says but looking at mine 

"Ugh, you are so talented at everything you do." I say but looking at his 

"I do not think it is as good as you are making it seem." He says but looking at it 

"You made a whole scene and mine is just the basic face." I say but looking at them

"I just went out of the box okay I can't help my brain." He says but with a chuckle 

"I know but I do not know how good I am at these kind of things but they look cute side by side. Dont they?" I ask

"Of course they do - they look so cute." Robin replies 

We turn on the candles in them and make them light up.

"These are going to look so cute out in the front. I think we should finish the decorations out front." Robin says 

"I think that would be good. I think if we just add more pumpkins it could be good." I say

"I think that is a good idea." Robin replies 

"I am wondering if we are going to be the most cool house on the block." I say

"I think we might be and I think we are always going to go out for the holidays at this house." Robin says 

"We just can't help but be cool people." I say but with a chuckle 

"You have got that one right. We are so cool." He says but chuckling 

"I do not know how we got the name for the coolest house on the block but we have to keep it up." I say

"I know I think just because we go out for some holidays it makes it the whole thing." Robin says 

"I think going out it is kind of the thing we are good at." I say

"I think so too and I think the boys could help out for the holidays in December." Robin says 

"They do help a lot when it comes to hanging the lights and such." I say

"Of course they are so much help and it gets it all done so much more quick than just the two of us doing the things you know?" Robin asks 

"I know." I say but picking up my pumpkin

Robin does the same and we head out to the front yard.

"These better not get stolen or I will throw hands." I say

"No need to throw hands my love." Robin says 

"Do you think they will be stolen or do you think they will be okay?" I ask 

"I do not think anyone is going to be trying to take our pumpkins." Robin says 

"Are you sure?" I ask

We set them out on the porch and look at them.

"I am sure not one soul is going to want to steal our pumpkins besides my brothers.

"I think that you might be right then." I say

"Of course I am right there is not a time I am wrong when it comes to these kind of things." Robin says 

"Well not always but you know it is most of the time." I say

"I stand corrected then most of the time I am right." Robin says but with a chuckle
