Chapter 101

- Skips a few weeks when it is the middle of August - 

Y/N's POV

Today was a windy day I mean like really windy. It was kind of insane because the winds are never bad like this but it was another work day so I tried to not let it bother me. I mean you could feel the wind pushing on the house and on the cars passing by.

I headed out to my car to get it started before I was ready to head off and when I went to turn it on it would not turn on.

"Oh my god come on!" I shout out at the engine and trying to start it again

It was silent nothing was happening with the car. I got out of the car and popped the hood to see if I could locate the problem. It looked like my battery was dead. I had to make a quick phone call to work to let them know I would be a bit late.

Robin came out the door and to my side.

"What is going on with your car?" He asks 

"I think the battery is dead." I say but looking at him

"Okay, take my car and by the time you get home I will have this whole thing situated out for you." He says 

"Are you sure you want to put your time into getting my car fixed?" I ask

"Of course, I am your husband who else would be the one to do it for you. I do not think you should have to deal with this for yourself." He replies 

"Okay, if you are sure then I will do so." I say

He went and brought me his keys to his car and I was on my way. I headed on into the work building. I did kind of feel bad leaving him to take care of my car trouble but I did not want to miss work and he was off today.

"What ended up being wrong with your car?" One of my friends asked 

"The battery ended up being dead." I say

"How did you get in such a decent time?" They asked

"I used my husbands car to get on over here. He is taking care of mine and getting it fixed for me." I say

"Aww, what a wonderful husband you have." They replied 

Liv walked on over as soon as she saw me.

"You made it." She said 

"Of course I did." I say but with a bit of a chuckle 

"You have one heck of a man you know. I heard he is fixing up your car and all." Liv says 

"Yeah, he is pretty amazing and well you know how he is. He does not like for things to go wrong for me." I say

"I could tell and the good thing is my man is the same way with me. I think it is so good we found men who is going to take care of us." Liv says 

"I know and sometimes I do feel kind of guilty but knowing we is safe is such a wonderful thing." I say

"Of course. I never did think I would have a man half as good as the one I have now. I am glad though we moved back into the area." Liv says 

"Oh, same I could not imagine life without you being my best friend. That time period was kind of a wild one." I say but with a light chuckle 

"I know I kind of went a little bit insane without you being there by my side for all of those times. I am just glad we got us back together as friends a while back." She replies 

We would get our areas straightened out for work and then get to work.

Some time would have passed and it was time to go home from work. I would head home and get parked in Robin's parking spot. I got out of the car and did not see my car anywhere. I did see a different car and was kind of confused.

Robin came outside as soon as he heard the car pull up.

"Where did my car go? Were they not able to fix the issues with it?" I ask

"Well.. I ended up getting you an upgrade on the car you had. I thought it would be nice to have a step up kind of like a bit nicer you know. I hope you is not mad about it." He says 

"You did not have to do thatt. How much did it cost to do it?" I ask

"I am not going to tell you because you will not like it but you just need to know I did it because I love you." He replies 

"Oh like that is the most comforting thing for me to hear right now." I say

"Well get in it and let's see how you look in the front seat of your new car." He says but giving me the keys 

I would walk on over and get in the car and get in the front seat. He would get in the passenger front side.

"This is so comfortable inside." I say but shutting the door 

"Isn't it? I thought you would like it since it was most similar to the other one you had but it should not cause you any problems." He replies 

"I do not know how to repay you and say thank you enough for doing this for me." I say but looking at him

"Well shall we take it for a ride?" He asks but looking at me 

"We shall." I say but we would take it for a ride around the block

"I thought when I test drove it that it rode so smooth and it is true it does ride smooth. Bringing it home was a lot of fun." He replies 

"It is so nice thank you so much." I say

"You are always welcome my love." He replies but with a smile 

I would drive a little more around the neighborhood before then heading back home.
