- Next Day -
Y/N's POV
It was another day in this life I live. I woke up yet again to another message on the line of how the shop would be closed again today. It was beginning to get a little suspicious. I planned on going down to the salon today and I think it is going to open my eyes. Maybe I will get an answer as to why this was happening? I could not tell you the reason yet but I hope I could find one out.
"I think it is kind of weird and sus. I mean two days at the salon being closed?" He asks
"I know it is kind of weird. I think I am going to head down there this morning and then tonight we get to have our dinner with your family." I say
"I know and we finally get to tell them about baby." He says but with a smile
"I know I am so excited to not be keeping it a secret no more. I am surprised nobody has asked questions about it but you know." I say
"I think people know how to keep their eyes out of other people's lives." He replies
"I am glad people have come up with the idea of how life is their own and not having their nose in everyone's." I say
"I wonder what the public thinks about the things we do in life. There is not many articles about anything in regards to us." He says
"I find it interesting you know. I am always curious about how people see us and our life together." I say
"I know but there is nothing they can pick on." He says
"I am surprised they have not found a lot of things for us to be picked on for." I say
We would get ready for the day and would head down to the salon.
The lights were very dim inside. I had a key so I unlocked the door and headed in we all had permission to come in whenever.
"Hello?" I ask
The boss walked into my vision.
"Hey Y/N, what are you doing in here?" He asks
"I was just curious how the salon was going." I say
"Oh, so you found out that we were not in a deep clean mode eh?" He asks
"I kind of figured by the way of the messages on the line it was deeper than that." I say
"Are you guys doing okay?" Robin asks
"Truth is - no we have not found out the right way to tell our workers. We thought doing it this way would make the workers not worry so much." The boss replies
"I think being honest would be okay. I am just hoping you guys are not going under in the business." Robin says
"I am not too sure if we will be making it out of this one but we sure are going to try." The boss replies
"Do we like need a little more promotion on the salon or do you think we could figure it out." I say
"I think we could figure out something." He replies
"We could do a little promotion if it could be a little bit of a help?" Robin asks
"Honestly, anything helps. The salon might be busy each day but it is not enough to keep the head above water." Boss says
"Has anyone else found this out or asked about it?" I ask
"No, you are going to be the first one who is in the knowing of what is going on. We do not know like I said how to tell the others." Boss says
"I think if everyone got together we could come together to save the salon." I say
"You are always the one who thinks above and out of the box. This is why you are my favorite worker." Boss says
"Aww, thank you. I do try my best to do as much as I can." I say
"Out of everyone you do the most and continue to do so each day." Boss says
"I told you that you were doing amazing. And you did not believe me or maybe you did but not enough." Robin says
"I just feel like I am not doing enough you know?" I ask
"You are doing enough and more than enough. You are amazing and I am so grateful for you here." Boss says
"I appreciate you for saying that." I say
"Well, we must figure this out if we do not begin now will we ever?" Robin asks
"Good point. We have got this we can save this place." I say
"You guys have the best attitudes I love it." Boss says
"Well we try in the best times. Sometimes people are not the most positive so someone has to do it." Robin says but with a chuckle
"I think it is kind of nice of you guys to be the biggest supporters of this place right now. But, yes anything is going to help us get off the ground." Boss says
"We are more than happy to help. This is the best job I have ever had so like I am just I don't want to have the business go out of business." I say
"It is not going to be going out if we have anything to do with it. Maybe we could even do like a fundraising concert for it." Robin says
"You guys would do something like that for us?" Boss asks
"I am sure I could get my brothers in on it. I know we have not performed as the Bee Gees in a while but it could never hurt." Robin says
"That is true it could bring a good look to the name and see how many people want you guys back." I say
"I have wanted to see how the crowds could be since the time we have been gone." Robin says
"Well, I guess there is only one way to find out." I say
"Indeed that is true." Boss says
"Let's go find my brothers and see if they would be down." Robin says but looking at me
"See you guys soon." Boss says
"Take care." I say
We would leave and head down to see Robin's brothers and see if they would be down with the idea.
Thank you guys for reading! I do hope you guys enjoy this book as much as I enjoy writing it. Take care and stay safe <3
