Chapter 24

- Arriving in Delaware - 

Y/N's POV

I think this is going to be so nice. It has been a bit of time since I have seen my folks - of course since I have moved away so did my siblings but they are supposed to be flying in as well. I just don't know exact dates.

"Mmm, Delaware weather is so refreshing not so rainy as it is in London." I say but walking out of the airport 

Robin follows behind me and we wait for my parents.

"Remember the car is blue and you can't miss it knowing my parents." I say

"Right." Robin says 

Beep beep beep a car honking pulls up right in front of us.

"Ayye, you guys made it despite how early it is." I say but with a chuckle 

My parents get out of the car.

"Long time no see kiddo how dare you go this long without being around us." My dad says but hugging me and Robin

"I know how dare you do this to us." My mom says but getting into the hug 

"Nice to see you both." Robin says 

"Nice to see you as well kiddo - been treating my daughter well?" My dad asks but looking at Robin

"Of course he has daddy. He is the best guy a woman could ask for." I say

"That is good then." My dad says 

"Yes, it is. She is my queen that I am going to be marrying next month." Robin says but with a smile 

My dad puts our things in the trunk of the car.

"Well how was the flight on over here?" My mom asks but opening the car door for us 

"It was good you know not too bad. I think we slept most of it if I am being honest with ya." I say

"Yeah, it was a quiet flight most of the people were asleep which was nice. Not a lot of talking going on around us." Robin says 

"Always good when the flight is a quiet one." My mom says but shutting the door 

My parents get in the car and my dad drives us home.

"How have you guys been since I have been gone?" I ask

"Well we have been working on the house - it is coming along nice. I think we might renovate your old room a bit. We have yet to touch it though." My mom says

"Aww, it is going to be bitter sweet but you know it has been like a decade at this point." I say

"Yeah, it has been a long time since you have been in that room. The rest of the house has changed quite a bit. We are thinking about moving into a smaller place one of these days." My dad says 

"That would be good for you guys and if you guys need help moving we can always fly in to help you guys out." I say

"Aww, well that would be nice of you to do that. But it is okay we can hire some movers it should not be too bad when it comes to the price I would think." My dad says but pulling into the driveway

"Well if you guys do need us then let us know. We are always here to help and can get off work when you need us to." I say

"I think my work is the most flexible but it also depends if we is touring on the time when you guys chose to do so." Robin says 

We all get out of the car.

"What is it like when it comes to touring the world?" My mom asks interested 

"It is such a cool thing to be able to do - I think it is nice to be able to see how the world works and how different it is from place to place." Robin says 

"You have been almost everywhere huh?" My dad asks 

My parents get our things out of the trunk and bringing them inside.

"Yeah, it is kind of crazy to know how many places I have been to since we started touring." Robin says 

We walk inside with them.

"Ooo, how nice your living room is." I say but looking around 

"Yeah, this is the place we have really changed up but like we mentioned we might just move to a smaller place." My mom says 

"It smells good in here." Robin says 

"We did make some food before we went to pick you kiddos up. We thought you might be hungry." My dad says 

"What did you make?" I ask

"Well, we made some oatmeal because we knew it would stay warm." My mom says 

"Ooo, nice sounds good to me." I say

"Same here." Robin says 

"Go make yourself comfortable you know where your room is - right where you left it." My mom says but chuckling 

"Alright." I say

Me and Robin head to my room and make it comfortable.

"Wait, they said they did not change anything in here?" I ask but looking around 

"Maybe they messed up what they said love. I do not know." Robin says 

We put our things down and get settled in.

"I don't mind it looks so much better." I say but with a chuckle 

"It does look nice." Robin says 

We head back down to the kitchen.

"Here you kids go." My mom says but giving us some breakfast 

"I also made your favorite kiddo." My dad says but pulling a pie out of the oven

"Ooo you remembered." I say but looking at him with a smile 

"Also, we said we did not change your room but surprise we did." My mom says 

"It looks nice and really alive in there so I am so glad you did." I say but with a chuckle 

"Yeah, we did that a while ago and your siblings should be coming in within the next few days." My mom says 

"Ooo, nice it is going to be nice to see them as well." I say

"I have met em a few times but it is going to be nice." Robin says 

"My brothers are a little but crazy but it is okay. I think they calmed down by now." I say but with a chuckle
