Chapter 36

- Christmas Eve - 

Y/N's POV

I think work is going to be good today. I mean I have all my every day clients in for me today looing at this list I have. I am obsessed with doing Christmas hair some of them are just here for a cut and some of them are here to be styled by me.

"I want to get a dog one of these days." Liv says 

"Aww, I think that would be so cute if you did. You would have a cute little companion to have around you always." I say

"Or a cat could be cute too. The only pet I have ever had was a hamster but you know it is kind of insane to think about it." Liv says 

"Well if you want to after the holidays I could go down to the shelter with you and see what kind of animal you would like to get." I say but looking at Liv 

"I think that would be so cute." Liv replies 

"Well then it is settled we will go out looking for a cute pet for you." I say

"I think that would be so much fun." Liv says 

"It is going to be so much fun." I say

"I think our first people are going to be coming in any minute now." Liv says but looking at the door 

The doors open and our clients start coming inside and we get to work with them.

"Ever since the Grease soundtrack came out with Beauty School Dropout it has been stuck in my head." I say

"Oh yes and your husbands brother helped with the soundtrack." Liv says 

"Yeah, it is kind of interesting and then I heard there is another one coming out next year. I don't know if he is going to be asked to do the same thing or what could happen." I say

"Wouldn't it be funny they want you to be the lead." Liv says but joking 

"Oh, I could never do something like that. I have no abilities when it comes to performance let alone the idea of being in a movie." I say

We do more clients hairs and style them and some time goes by.

"I think it is nice to be able to have different clients come in for so many different reasons." Liv says 

"Oh of course it is so much fun to be able to do a wide variety of interesting things with the clients. Some of them have a lot of hair and others not too much but it is so fun to do things with it." I say

"I am so glad this is the job we get to do. I think it is nice we get off tomorrow." Liv says 

"Yeah, that is the cool thing about this job. We get off for the main holidays and it is paid time off which not a lot of places do for their workers." I say

"Our boss is the cool man though. I have an idea we should come up with a nickname for the man who pays us." Liv says 

"Lets call him the man who pays us money." I say but chuckling 

"I do not think that would be a very good name for us to do." Liv says 

We finish up our last clients for the day after half the day passes. It was a half day so we had less to work with and less people to take care of.

"What are you going to be doing after this?" I ask but looking at Liv

"Well, I have no idea my mom came in for the week so probably spending some time with her. I don't think my dad is going to come in since you know my mom came in so." Liv says 

"Aww, how is your mom doing?" I ask

"She is doing good you know getting better with each day that passes by." Liv says 

"I have some gifts for you guys in my car so don't run out of here like a bat fire hurry." I say but with a chuckle 

"Of course not I have the same in my car for you." Liv says 

"Aww." I say

We finish our duties in the building and then we get all our stuff then heading out to the cars. We always park next to each other when possible. Getting our stuff put into our cars.

"I have this for you." I say but pulling out a bag that had some boxes and bags inside of it 

"Oooo." Liv says but taking it with a smile 

"Thank you." She adds 

"Always sis." I say but with a smile 

Liv puts it in her car then pulling out some gifts for me.

"And I have this for you." Liv says but handing me some bags

"Aww, thank you so much." I say but with a smile 

"Always sis." She says but copying what I said 

"I think this is going to be an amazing Christmas. I think this will be one to remember for always." Liv says 

"I am so glad we have been able to do these kind of things." I say

"Besties for life." Liv says 

"Besties for life you know it is so nice knowing you are always going to be here for me and mine." I say

"I will always love being your bestie and because your my bestie I get you for life." Liv says but with a smile 

We hug for a minute and then close our car doors. 

"I will see you in a few days once work resumes." Liv says 

"Yes, and it is going to be a nice holiday. Enjoy your time with your family." I say but with a smile 

"Same goes for you my bestie." Liv says but with a smile 

We part ways and get in our cars then heading on home.

To a lovely Christmas with the family.
