Chapter Fourteen
Mac's POV
We pulled up to an abandoned warehouse building, yet it was less abandoned than it usually is. I could hear the music and the bass was so strong that I could practically feel it. Scott and Stiles went to the back of the truck and Stiles started pulling out the mountain ash.
"I'm heading inside!" I yelled to them and walked toward the entrance. I showed a guard my ticket and walked up the stairs. People all around me were having fun. There was numerous people dancing, drinking, smoking, and making out. I wasn't even in the main room yet. I headed down this long hallway, toward these curtain like things. When I opened the door, it was like someone turned off the main light and turned on a black light. It was crazy. Everybody was jumping up and down and waving their glow sticks in the air.
"This is gonna be one crazy night." I muttered to myself. I looked around for any familiar faces. I seen a few, but not anybody I would talk to. I was standing on my tippy-toes when I was bumped into by someone. I fell to my knees and turned to cuss the person out, but I turned to see Danny with his hand out.
"I'm so sorry Mac, wasn't looking at where I was going." I heard him say. I just nodded to let him know I was okay. "Wanna dance?" He asked me and led me to the dance floor. Without my permission, might I add. We danced for a little bit before either of us talked.
"How ya been? Liking Beacon Hills?" Danny asked as we danced. He picked up my arm and spun me around.
"I've been okay. Let's just say I enjoy it here than my old town." I replied laughing at Danny's danced moves. "How about you?"
"I've been okay, other than the fact that my best friend has stopped talking to me." Danny replied looking down and stopping his movements. I sighed and gave him a hug. He shot me a half smile. Before either one of us could say anything, I felt myself being pulled away. Isaac was pulling me away from the crowd.
"What's up?" I asked him. He had a look of happiness on his face.
"We got him." He exclaimed and pulled me into this room. Erica was standing in the corner and Jackson was sitting in a chair. His head was just hanging there. I pulled out my phone and called Stiles.
"Did you get him?" Stiles asked me.
"Yeah, were in a room, it's kinda like a refrigerator. Its at the back of the party." I replied to him. He told me he was on his way and hung up. I felt kind of happy. Maybe my feeling is wrong. We all stared at him, waiting for Stiles to get here. None of us said a word, just stared. The only sounds were the sounds from the party and our breathing. The door opening broke our silence and Stiles walked in. Erica and Issac moved to the door, in attack mode.
"Uh, no, no, no! Just me, it's just me. Don't freak." He said, stopping them from doing anything violent like they wanted. He closed the door. I just shook my head as Stiles moved into the room. He looked at me and gave me a slight smile. He looked toward Jackson. "Is he okay?"
