Chapter Three
Mac's POV
So, last night was absolutely horrible. I spent the night alone, seeing as my guardians were at the hospital. I didn't have anyone to talk to. I'm pretty sure I had a nightmare, but I never remember my dreams.
It is already the middle of the day, and I'm sure I've snapped on at least three people today. My head was killing me. Everything was pissing me off. If I could punch everybody in the face right now, I would feel a lot better.
I stopped to get some water, to hopefully stop my headache. When I walked around the corner after I was done drinking from the fountain, I saw Erica and Scott talking. It must have been a heated discussion, because Erica's face was dark. I leaned against the lockers and watched them. It was amusing how Scott walked backward as Erica walked toward him.
"Jerkoff!" She yelled, and that was the only thing I heard from her conversation. Well other than her pushing Scott up against the lockers, hard. I winced cause I know that must have hurt. She put her arms and round his neck, and both of their heads turned to look at the opposite side of the hallway. The girl that Scott was flirting with yesterday was standing there, watching them.
When she walked away Scott became angry and grabbed Erica's wrist, removing them from him. She started to pant with a smile on her face. I guess she like the pain. She walked smirked and walked away from him, in my direction. Not before earning herself a death glare from him.
"Well, that was certainly a show." I said as she was walking past me. When she turned to face me, a smile graced her face.
"It was, wasn't it. I think he likes me." She gushed.
'And I think you're delusional' I thought.
"He's cute, isn't he?" She asked looking at me with a smirk. The smirk that I'm guessing she just developed.
"Um, not really." I said, trying to hold in my disgust. She might not know he's my brother, and I don't really consider myself his sister, but the thought of him being attractive makes my stomach churn.
"Mmmph." Erica hummed out. A look of confusion showed on my face.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked her.
"I'll see you later." She said, walking to class. I just rolled my eyes, becoming once again angry. I hate when people do that. Just walk away without answering the question. I really don't want to go to class. My headache was killing me, and I really don't want to go to the rest of my classes. I think I'm going to skip the rest of the day. I walked out the doors and started walking down the road. I don't know where I'm going or how I'm going to get anywhere, since I don't have a car. I just needed to get out the school. The fresh air kinda made my head feel better. My anger was really all over the place. I used to have a little control but it kinda faded away.
