Chapter Twenty Four

Stiles POV

I woke up in the truck, we were in front of the Argent's house. One of the hunters pulled me out the car and toward the basement. I complained the whole way there. That probably irritated him. It was probably a reason he threw me down the stairs.

I pulled myself off the ground slowly. My body was groaning in pain. I heard a noise that sounded a lot like someone crying. Making me freeze. The basement was pitch black. I moved my back against the wall. I felt around for a light switch. When I turned the light on, I was shocked at what I seen. Erica, Boyd, and Mac were all tied up by their wrists.

"Oh my god. I'll get you outta here." I said. They all made a noise and I shushed them. I went up to Mac. I touched her tied wrist was was shocked. The light flickered on and off.

"They were trying to warn you. It's electrified" Gerard said walking down the stairs. I turned to look at him.

"What are you doing with them?" I asked him angrily. He stopped at the bottom of the stairs and leaned against the wall.

"At the moment, just keeping them comfortable." Gerard said, "There's no point in torturing them. They won't give Derek up. The instinct to protect their Alpha's too strong."

"What about Mackinzy? She's human!" I yelled at him.

"I'm not so sure about that."Gerard said. He started walking toward her and I stepped in the way. He pushed me, knocking me into Boyd.

"Don't you dare touch her!" I yelled at him. He ignored me and pulled up her shirt where she had gotten shot. There was a faint, very faint scar.

"No human would be this healed. It also wouldn't burn to touch the wound." Gerard said. I looked at Mac in confusion. She just looked at the wall. She's not human? "Ms. McCall, can you get past Mountain Ash?" He asked her.

She didn't respond, so he punched her in the stomach. She yelped in pain. I went to make a move toward her but he pulled out a knife.

"Come any closer and I'll stab her. I'll make sure this time she dies." He said with the knife pressed against her skin. I froze and back away slightly.

"Please just stop hurting her." I begged him. He just chuckled.

"Young love." He said and moved the knife away from her. Mac had tears streaming down her face. "Now let me repeat this question and I better get an answer. Can you get past Mountain Ash?"

She shook her head no. I just looked at her shocked. She's not human? Since when? What is she? What the hell is going on here and why am I the only human one out of my friends?
