#LASS_meet
“Good Morning po Kuya Ronald” I greeted our driver as soon as I entered the car. Kuya Ronald is the same age as Manang Becka. He's also good to me. Nakikita ko sa kanya ang pagiging ama sa akin. Binibigay niya sa akin ang father treatment na hindi ko kailanman naranasan kay daddy.
“Good morning too ma'am Harrah” he greeted back with a smile plastered on his face.
“I already said to you Kuya, drop that ma'am” I said humorously.
“sorry hija nasanay lang, dibale sa susunod” he smiled at pina andar na ang sasakyan
“ahmm… Kuya Ronald kailan nga po ang day off ninyo?” I asked him out of nowhere. Wala lang gusto ko lang malaman.
“next month pa naman, sa makalawa, bakit mo naitanong?” tiningnan niya ako from the front mirror.
“wala lang po, ano pong plano niyo?” tanong ako ng tanong. Bakit ba? Curious ako eh.
“siguro pupunta ako ng bohol, magbabakasyon kami ng pamilya ko, gustong gusto kasi ng anak kong makapunta doon, birthday gift na din sa kanya” sabi niya. Kitang kita ko ang saya sa kanyang Mukha habang binabanggit niya ang pamilya niya. Ganyan din ba sila mommy pag binabanggit ang pamilya namin?
I feel a slight pain when kuya ronald mentions his family happily. But in a good way. I didn't experience being loved by my own father kasi. What does it feel kaya when your own father treats you like a princess?
Ever since when my younger sister was gone or went missing. Dad's treatment of me changed a lot.
I hummed “please tell your daughter happy birthday po” I smiled at him gamit ang front mirror at ngumiti siya sa akin pabalik.
Ang swerte ng pamilya ni Kuya Ronald specially sa kanyang mga anak because they experience their father's love. I hope it will last long. If I was given a chance to be loved by my father, I would definitely treasure it with my own heart and I'll wear it like a medal but of course all of that was just a dream of mine.
“Harrah nandito na tayo” pukaw ni kuya ronald sa attention ko.
“thank you po” sabi ko at bumaba na sa van.
“magpapasundo ka ba mamaya?” biglaang tanong niya nang isasara ko na sana ang pintuan ng van.
“No na po, I'm now going back to my condo na, kahapon lang po yun because si mommy nag insist sa akin eh” I said and closed the door.
When I stepped inside the school, suddenly someone touched me on the shoulder kaya napatingin ako doon.
It was Maureen, grinning at me.
“Hey! How are you” she greeted.
“Obviously fine,” I chuckled.
“Harrah!!” may biglang sumigaw ng name ko.
So we turned our heads and there we saw Ellia, Nadia and Luke. Sobrang saya ni Ellia tapos itong si Nadia ay pinipilit dalhin dito si Luke. Nakasimangot si Luke na para bang na istorbo nila ito. Wala ba itong tulog kagabi?
“Hey girls! Musta ang nomi kagabi?” bati ni Ellia at sumabay ng lumakad sa amin.
“feels great!” Maureen exclaimed.
