The wind blew through my skin as the tears flowed from my eyes. I have to let out all of my painful feelings. 

Ending my life was my first thought when I woke up. What is my purpose in this world if no one will love me?

I was just a total mess… that needed to be gotten rid. 

While I was in a deep thinking if I should end my life, the phone that I was holding suddenly rang. 

Sinilip ko kung sino ang tumatawag.

Maureen is calling…

The person that keeps giving me advice is calling. The person who understands me the most. The person who did nothing but listen to my rants and problems. She knows me damn well kung kailan ako dadamayan, kung kailan ko gusto ng karamay. My best friend was calling me… 

I swipe my phone to answer her call. Nanginginig kong inilapat sa tenga ang phone ko. 

[what's up?] I managed to sound normal. 

[anong what's up, what's up ka diyan!] galit na sabi niya. 

[What is this news Harrah?] Her voice sounds worried.

[What news?]

[Damn, girl didn't you open your socmed? You and Ethan are trending now, especially with your lost sister daw is it true?] she asked. 

Hindi na ako nabigla sa sinabi niya. I know that it will happen and I was expecting that.

[unfortunately] mahinang sabi ko. 

[Grabe, there was an article na kinidnap daw kayo ng so-called brother ni Ash, until now I can't believe that Ash is your sister] She said.

[even your parents are in the news right now]

[what?] my brows furrowed.

My chest tightened because of what I heard. Why didn't I know that? Alam na pala nila ang totoo. Bakit hindi nila ako sinabihan na may interview…

My lips were trembling. I covered my mouth to stop my sobs para hindi rin marinig ni Maureen from the other line. 

[Harrah you ok?] Nag aalala na tanong ni Maureen. Did she hear my sobs?
