Im visiting my parents at the lab and everything is going normal. Homework talk from my mom and new tom cruise movie with my dad and science class with hodgins.
No one had said anything about my birthday, I'm sure they are just thinking about more important things like catching a serial killer, right?
I go to study group and get home around 7pm.
The lights are off but the door is unlocked.
I walk around the corner clutching my keys between my fingers.
"SURPRISE" was being yelled as i stood there in shock. I was flooded with hugs and happy birthdays and Angela placing a "birthday girl" sash around me and a tiara on my head.
We had cake, did karaoke, opened gifts, ate more cake, people started to go home, my friends to come in, we did a "photoshoot" and more karaoke followed by board games.
It was great and I can't believe I ever thought they would forget my birthday
