I didn't sleep. I stared at father who seemed to have a wide smile on his face. he strecthed out his hands and i jumped into them. he was very warm and smelt nice. He gave me a peck on my head and smiled. Maki seemed to have disappeared.

"Dad where did you go to?"

He sat on the bed patting my head calmly. i could hear the sound of his heartbeat. I never could hear it. Dad was dead but using all his energy to stay alive for me. Now he was more alive. But to think he was going to suffer more because of Aaron and the others.

'[Dont be to hard on Aaron.]'

"I went to meet him."

My ears perked up in an instant turning to dad. I used my magic to check on him but he had no injuries. He smiled patting my head.

"I went to make multiple requests to him."

"I asked him first to let us leave the palace and give us a new castle. He got mad a threw a pen at me. Luckily i dogde it."

He smiled. Though he was smiling. it didnt look like the warm smile he gives to me. That Aaron. He still hasnt given up on dad. He doesnt love him yet.

Leave me alone. I placed my hands on my ear.

"I also asked...Are you alright abby?"

"Oh yes."

I dropped my hands.

"I though i felt a fly in my ear."

Dad checked my ear and sighed.

"Your fine. Thank goodness."

I nodded.

"I also asked him to give me the training room to use and pocket money. In exchange we promise to not leave till you have won."

Oh yes that true we need some pocket change. Sigh but even without the promise the seal on my arm which was kept there at the start of training would alert the king of my wereabouts no one is allowed to retreat.

Dads face looked Pitiful.

"Father?"

His face change back to his normal expression. He start at me as though taking in a scene.

I hugged him.

He has protected me enough. Each life. Using his stamina to keep me full of magic. Hiding me during his toture. Sacrificing his food to make me eat and making me play even though he was tired.
