1 - Nice To Meet You

This is the prologue of the story before the time skip. You are 10 years old and lives with their mom. You've just been dropped off for your first day in the daycare.

  I smiled at my mom and waved as I watched her leave through the exit doors. I looked around and noticed a slide with a sign labeled "Slide into fun". I approached the slide slowly before sitting down and giving myself a small push. I screamed with joy as I fell into the ball pit.

  Suddenly, two hands pulled me out of the ball pit. I was face to face with a 9ft animatronic. He was themed around a sun, and his rays were spinning. "HELLO NEW FRIEND!! Are you here to stay?! We can finger paint, tell stories, and drinks tons and tons of fizzie fazz!" He put me down carefully and I stared at him in awe.

  "Nice to meet you, new friend! My name is Sundrop, your friendly daycare attendant! What's your name, friend?" He asked me with a big grin. I smiled back at him and replied eagerly, "Hello Mr. Sundrop! My name is Y/N!"

  He laughed and crouched down to my level, "What a wonderful name, Y/N! How long are you staying with us?"

  "Until my mom gets off work at 7:00! She really wanted me to make some friends while I'm here..." I looked around but couldn't see a single other child. "Where is everyone?"

  Sundrop chuckled nervously, "There used to be a lot more children but after the incident... Don't you worry though! More kids will arrive soon! It's only 11:00 after all!" I smiled with a small nod.

  He pointed to a light switch, "And there is only one rule! Keep the lights on and bright!" I nodded again. Got it. The lights have to stay on.

  I grabbed Sun's sleeve and tugged it, "Can we color?" He nodded and brought me to a table with some crayons and colored pencils. I was allowed to draw to my heart's content.

  About 4 hours passed and it was 3 already. Sun and Y/N were building a tall tower together when they both heard two kids drop into the ball pit. Sundrop stood up and laughed, "I told you that there would be more kids! Would you like to welcome them with me?" 

  I shook my head. It sounded nerve wracking to talk to some random kids. "No thank you, I'd rather sit here and draw some more." I could see the disappointment in Sun's face, "Didn't you want to make some friends? You sure you don't want to come?" I nodded and Sundrop patted my head before leaving.

  I sat at the table drawing, occasionally looking over at sun playing with the two siblings. I looked around for reference, and a poster caught my eye. The animatronic on the poster looked so cool! I grabbed a blue pencil and started drawing immediately.

  When I finished, I ran to sun. I wanted to show him the cool picture I drew. He turned around as I approached, "Hey there kiddo! Do you want to say hi now?" I shook my head quickly; My drawing was much more important than those random kids. "I drew someone cool from a poster!

  Sun smiled brightly like always, "Alright then! May I take a look?" I nodded and handed the paper to Sun. He looked at the paper and froze. "Where did you- How- Why...? Why is it Moon...?"
