Oh god. It's been a year already. I'm SO sorry for making you guys wait, I'm back now. I'm writing this before I rewrite the old chapters, but I plan on rewriting some of the ones pre-time skip and changing Y/N to be nonbinary. Sorry if you don't like this change but I thought it'd help me write this better when I relate to it more and so that other people can read it too. (For clarification, I'm genderfluid and don't always feel feminine which makes it so I don't want to write more for this as much.) I'll get back to writing more as quickly as I can! Ty for those who've made it to this point. - Author

After Alex had left, I turned to Moon. "Not bad... compared to how you used to be that is."

Moon rolled his eyes, "Yeah yeah, that's enough socialization for me."

I chuckled as I walked up to him. "You're getting better. Bend down." Moon raised one of his metal eyebrows. "And why do you want me to do that, hmmm?"

After realizing what his servers were thinking I scoffed, "Just kneel!"

He laughed and got down on one knee. His laugh sounded so genuine and happy. I reached out and pat his head. He looked up at me and I could see his face plate becoming pink which was my cue to remove my hand.

This time he was the one to scoff as he looked away. "Turn on the lights, will ya? Sun wants to talk to you." I nodded to him as I carefully walked in the dark to find the light switch.

When I found it I flipped it and the lights turned on in rows and I watch Moon's attributes change into Sun's.

I walked back over and smiled, "Hey Sunny, what did you want to talk about?"

He looked... nervous. But I couldn't tell why. I pat his head like I did with Moon earlier. He slowly reached to the back panel of his face plate and tapped it softly. "...Where is it?"

A shiver ran down my spine as I realized what he was talking about. "W-What are you talking about, Sunny?"

Sun seemed to almost not want to answer for fear of my reaction. "I've seen the device, I know it's not small... so where is it? What about the virus? How long has it been gone?! Has Moon been helping with the kids the entire time without it?!"

I could sense the rising panic in his voice. I set a hand on his shoulder, "Sunny! Calm down... I'll explain everything, I promise!"

He nodded but he didn't seem any less panicked. I did the first thing I could think to do and I hugged his waist.

"Sunny... maybe we should just talk in your room? My computer and my supplies are up there..." When I pulled away, I swore his face plate was a shade of pink.

Sun was a lot calmer as we headed to his room through the back way. He immediately sat on his bed and I pulled my computer and set it down.

I sat down next to him and booted up my computer. Moon was most definitely going to be pissed that I told Sun, but I owe this him.

As the computer loaded, I started searching for the screenshots of the files. "So before you freak out, you need to know that I've been helping Moony and he's been getting a lot better."

He just nodded and let me continue. "The day I came back, me and Moony were playing in the ball pit... I threw a ball at his head and it knocked the device loose enough to fall off..."

Sun's eyes shot wide, "It hasn't been on for that long?!" I nodded and looked away.

"There's a lot more that you're gonna wanna hear..."
