Sorry if the chapters are kinda short, this is the price to try and get more chapters out quickly but I'll keep trying to post every day <3

As the lights turned on, Sun appeared again. His face dropped as he stared at my bloodstained jacket and my leg that apparently started bleeding too.

"Sunsh—" He tried to speak but I stopped him, "Who's in the daycare...?

Sun scooped me up and started making his way through the jungle gym, finding the exit. He carefully set me down and peaked his head out to look at the door.

He stood up straight, "Oh! It's Alex again!" I almost panicked but I couldn't let myself freak Sun out.

"Don't... let them see me... tell them I'm taking a nap before the daycare opens." It was the best excuse I could come up with. If Alex saw me injured, they'd be able to figure out what happened and a whole chain of events could conspire.

Sun nodded slowly and tried to smile before jumping out and heading over to Alex. Meanwhile, I struggled to limp to my room. I managed to get to the door but I was shaky and might fall over.

I stepped inside carefully and was about to turn on the lights and look for the med kit but I stepped wrong and I crashed into the floor.

The pain was so bad now that the adrenaline of running away from Moon was starting to fade. The door opened and I saw Sun in the doorway. "What did they need...?"

He was fidgeting with the ribbons on his wrists, "Alex just said they forgot to mention that our first check up is next week..." I could tell he wanted to come in but he was too scared to risk trying to go in and turn on the light himself.

I crawled to the light switch and carefully stood enough to flick it on. As soon as I did, Sun rushed and scooped me up and place me on my bed, "O-Oh!"

Sun started searching everywhere until he found the med kit in the bathroom. He sat on the floor next to the bed like he was about to treat my wounds.

It was unusual seeing Sunny so quiet. I pat his head, "Sunny... I'm okay..."

He shook his head, "But you're not! Look at you! Moon should be ashamed!" Sun had unwrapped the jacket and looked at the wound on my arm. He rolled up my sleeve and started cleaning the wound.

This reminds me of the last time Moon had hurt me. But this time, things are much worse.
