Chapter Fifty One

She felt her nerves spike up at the question, "umm I don't know if I can answer that question Minie. You guys are soulmates and I would never get in between your bonds. I respect you guys too much and your bonds are too precious."

"But what if there were no bonds, or if there was a way to form bonds, or what if we had like an open relationship, would you?"

Shock ran through their bond. Jimin had just asked that.

Everyone turned to look at Aila, the conversation turning serious. Jimin didn't want to put her on the spot but he wanted to know. He needed to know if there was a chance.

"Umm, it's hard to imagine that if I'm being honest. You guys are so in love. It's disgusting sometimes." She tried to laugh and move the conversation along. She didn't want to think about that. She didn't want to feed an illusion.

"I would." Yoongi answered, "if I had the chance to date you I would. I would put all my energy and time towards building something with you." He stared at her, making eye contact, saying his truth.

She felt her heart stop at the intensity of Yoongi's voice, his timber, his eyes. She couldn't look away from him. He was such a contradiction, so calm yet his presence was dominant.

The others followed as they also said yes, saying beautiful things about her, telling her how they thought she was the most beautiful woman they had ever seen.

Her heart began to beat faster along with her mind replaying their words, words that only made her believe in a reality that would never happen.

"Did we say something bad?" Hoseok asked as he noticed her eyes get glossy and watery.

"No it's just, it's not every day I have beautiful men tell me they would date me." She sucked in her breath, her nose already beginning to feel runny.

"I, um, I would also date you guys, and I'm not just saying because you guys woo me into it."

"Would you date us at the same time?"

"Huh?"

"Yeah would you, have you ever thought about a polyamorous relationship?"

Aila felt her throat run dry at the question, at the way they all seemed to stop breathing to listen to hear, at the way they leaned towards her way, ears wanting to catch her every word.

"I have actually. Some time ago. I thought about Erick and if I met the rest, if they would also like me the same way he did."

She didn't want to think about her roommates.

All their hopes got shot down. Of course, she would have thought of Erick and his soulmates, why would they ever be in the equation.

Could that be possible? Could they also form a faux bond with her? Could she be also a perfect match to them?

Did they want to give her the opportunity to?

"But, well I told Joonie, I've, I think, I think my feelings for Erick are going away, or not going away, I still feel them, I just, I don't know. I might like, no it doesn't matter."

They pretended like they didn't know what she was talking about. They weren't ready to face the fact she's slipping from their grasp.

"I'm just confused, that's all." She finally said.

"Well I can help, I don't mind. Just let me know babe." Jimin shamelessly licked his lips and winked at her.

"Don't mind him beautiful, he's just mad you're Kookie's girlfriend now and not his." Seokjin winked.
