Chapter 6: Mysterious Guy?

Ewan ko kung anong trip ni Zach. Andito kami sa roof top ngayon. In fairness, papagalitan na lang ako dinala pa ako sa magandang lugar. Ang ganda lang ng view dito, tsaka presko din at payapa.

Tiningnan ko siya at hindi pa rin nawawala yung seryoso niyang expression.

"Hey! I'm sorry okay. It's just that...ano kasi, I'm bored tapos nakita ko yung marker mo and then ano kasi...akala ko hindi ka magaga-" Naputol yung dapat kong sabihin ng bigla siyang magsalita.

"Tito said, You.Are.Not.Allowed to have a boyfriend until you reach 20 years old. Now, let me remind you that you just turned 18 one month ago. And besides, you still need an approval from your mom and dad and of course to me before you can accept someone as your boyfriend. One more thing is whoever that guy is, I guess it's too early for you to like him since the class started just 2 days ago. Aih! You can't like some random guys that you just meet, you have to know him first for pete's sake. And rea-" Hindi ko na kinaya so I cut him off.

"Wait. Wait, about saan 'to? And what the! Saan mo yan napulot yang mga theories mo?" Nanggugulat naman to, as far as I remember humihinga lang naman ako.

"I heard some of your conversation with that girl. I am sure I heard it right. You like someone?" He confidently said. "Airah, you can be honest to me, I am the one who should know it first and not that girl you've recently meet." There's some hint of irritation from his voice.

Napanganga ako sa mga sinasabi niya. I really thought kaya ganoon yung reaction niya eh dahil sa ginawa ko sa mukha niya.

Hindi ko na napigilan at tumawa na ako.

"There's nothing funny Aih." I can't help but to laugh even more. Ang babaw ko talaga at sumasakit na ngayon yung tiyan ko kakatawa. Dagdag pang ang seryoso niya talagang tignan.

"Gosh Zach! Hahaha. I never knew that you loved to eavesdrop pala Hahaha. But you're not an expert when it comes to that, I could definitely say. Wala akong tinatago sayo, and I don't like someone. I never liked someone. You heard it the wrong way so calm down okay? Malala ka pa kay dad" I said pero mukhang hindi pa rin siya convinced.

"Look. You are the very first person na maiinform anything about me. And kanina, she's Melay. Naka delulu moment lang siya. And I swear I'm telling the truth. Wala talaga, trust me okay?" I added at mukhang kumalma na naman siya.

I don't know but there's still something pa rin in him. And there, nagulat ako ng bigla niya akong niyakap. Hindi lang simpleng yakap kundi mahigpit na yakap na para bang takot siya? Eh bakit naman.

I hugged him back kahit naguguluhan ako. Problema nito?

"Aih! I can't still imagine you with someone else right now. I grew up with you and I used to be with your presence. Please don't find someone else this soon, I'm not yet ready. Gosh! Gurl, after I misinterpret your conversation with that girl, you scared the hell out of me!" Although medyo OA siya but I am very touched and happy with what he said.

Kahit ako, nalulungkot din ako kapag naiisip ko na darating ang araw na we have to part our ways and build our own families. Though kahit sabihin man nating friends pa rin kami when that time comes pero kasi, for sure hindi na kagaya ngayon na siya yung first priority ko and vice versa. May magbabago talaga so I understand him.

"Bakit malungkot ang beshy ko?" I kid around to lighten up the mood.

"I'm damn serious here Aih, tss." He replied while still hugging me.

I looked at him and kissed his nose. "Your wish is my command and Zandra, my beshy? Kahit anong mangyari I will always be there by your side and I expect you to do the same so let's stop this drama at kumain ka na, okay?" I said and hugged him tight.

"Besh." Tawag ni Zach sa 'kin. We barely called each other like that kasi nag iingat kami baka may makarinig at mabuking pa tong si bakla. Pero mukhang wala namang ibang tao dito.

"Hmmm?" Umupo na kami sa mga box. May nakapiled kasi na mga box dito made of woods, malinis naman siya.

"I have something to tell you." Ito na naman siya at pa suspense pa talaga.

"Ano nga kasi?" Naiinis kunyari kong sabi.

"Ahmm... Don't be startled okay?" Ayan kinakabahan na naman tuloy ako.

"I'm hungry" sabi ni Zach kaya nasapak ko tuloy. 'Yon lang pala kala mo kung ano na.

"Sira ka talaga eh I told you to have your lunch, nagdadrama pa kasi" Sabi ko at hinila siya patayo.

"Kidding!..But seriously I really have something to tell you..." Kapag ito kalukuhan na naman ihuhulog ko siya rito. "This is his favorite place in this campus."

Napakunot yung noo ko sa narinig. "Huh?"

"Ahm... There's this someone I like and here is his favorite place, roof top." Napalingon agad ako sa kaniya. I think his just kidding.

"What? You've gotta be kidding me. You just freaked out earlier about me liking some guys and then now, what the hell?" Nagpeace sign lang ang bakla. Wait does this mean?

"I'm telling the truth. I think I like him? But still, you always comes first so it's fine. I'm worried when you liked someone since I can't hold what you truly feels while in my case, I know what I exactly felt and can still gives you an assurance that you can't lose me no matter what." He explained but still that's unfair.

"Ang unfair mo, and wait do you mean I can trust you but you can't trust me? Uyy grabe ka na ha." Pagmamaktol ko pero tinawanan niya lang ako at nagkibit balikat.

Anyways, wala naman akong magagawa since I don't like someone naman talaga at I can't control his feelings.

"Come! You don't have class right? Join me, we'll have our lunch." Sabi niya at hinila na naman ako pababa.

"Wait! Busog na ako. And who's that mysterious guy ba?" Tanong ko sa mahinang boses. Nacucurious din kasi ako.

"It's for you to found and for me to know" Yun lang yung sinabi niya at nagpatuloy na sa paglalakad.

"Nah! Seryoso malapit na akong magtampo, dakilang napakaunfair talaga ng sistema mo. Bawal sa akin pero sayo okay lang? Tapos ngayon hindi mo pa sasabihin sakin?" Nakakasama talaga siya ng loob.

"I'll tell you later, just come with me first. I'm hungry. And Uh-huh, you think I forgot what you did earlier on my gorgeous face? Nah I didn't so you have to follow what I want as your punishment." Wala naman ako magawa kaya sumama na ako.
