i went to her game and she looked so good playing. rose was also here with scarlett so i sat with her and she braided my hair for me.

"how you doing honey, last time we had a chat you were still in a bit of a state"
"i'm alright, getting through it" i said trying not to movie since i wanted it to be neat.

she passed me some orange slices and i ate them when lily came rushing over, sweaty, breathing heavy, and reallly really hot.

she grabbed my head and kissed my forehead "you hair looks good" she said trying to down as much as water as she possibly could.

"thank you"
"do you want to stay at mine tonight?" she said sitting next to me. i tried not to move away cause i can't with sweat touching me but ill stay cause it's her i guess.

"id love to, as long as we're asleep by midnight, i have a commission due tomorrow"
"and study to do"
"shut up nerd" i said i didn't want to think about that.
"you know you gotta do it sunshine"
"i know"

she had to go back for the last half so i turned to scarlett in a panic. "scarlett what did i agree to, why am i going to her house is this too quick what is happening"

"woah woah, what's going on between you guys" i quickly explained and she nodded.

"y/n you go at your own pace you're just going to her house you're not getting married, you've stayed in the same bed at mine, nothings moving too fast you're fine" she reassured me. "so i know that's not what you're actually afraid of, tell me what's the real reason"

"i'm scared if she stays around me too long and gets to know the real me, when she knows everything about me, that she won't like me" i admitted.

we talked and soon the game ended. lilys dad picked us up and we went back to her house. i rested my head on her shoulder still in her hoodie.

it wasn't late but it wasn't early for sure when we got to her house she took a shower before asking if i wanted one. can't really tell her i'm petrified of showering with a man i don't know in the house so i told her i had already showered today. she nodded and crawled back into bed when i was so comfortable against her pillows.

she pulled the blanket over us and grabbed her tv remote. "what do you want to watch?"
"anything"
"if you don't choose im going to make you do your school work"
"now what type of ultimatum is that" i groaned as she passed me the remote. i put on minions and she gave me an amused look but didnt say anything.

she wrapped her arm over my shoulders and i leaned into her a little more. it was like 11pm and i was staring to fall asleep. i knew i drifted off because the credits were playing two minutes later.

i pulled the blanket up over my shoulders and she started to get up. "where are you going" i said a bit quieter than i meant.

"to take my meds, i'll be back" she said running her hand through my hair and leaving. which reminded me that i didn't bring my medication. im going to be so down tomorrow.

i must've zoned out cause she came back in looking concerned. "you okay sunshine" she asked getting back in bed.

"yeah sorry, you reminded me i don't have my medication, so im sorry if i am a completely different person in the morning"

"ill like you either way" she smiled kissing my head. i knew she was trying to take it slow and i appreciated it. even if it made me feel like i wasn't enough for her. like i was holding her back.

we continued with the movie and soon she was asleep on my arm. i just stared at the empty dark wall until i started seeing shapes. she had her arm wrapped around my waist and i had a hand in her hair. the movie credits started to play loudly and she woke up groggily.

"god where's the remote" but we genuinely couldn't find it. "hey google turn the tv off"

"i cannot find anything playing on lily's tv"

"useless fucking thing" she groaned searching for her phone. she turned it off that way and settled back down in my arms.

"go to sleep y/n" she said knowing me. she ran her nails up my arm trying to coax me into sleep. it calmed me down and i pulled up the blanket more around me.

but i could still barely fall asleep. she moved and kissed my jaw. "try to sleep atleast"

"what do you think i'm doing" i said repositioning  "i have another idea though" i smiled kissing her forehead, then her cheek. she opened her eyes and smiled at me.

getting up slightly to lean above me. "and what would that be" she said tucking some of her hair behind her ear that had fallen in her face.

lizzie picked me up early in the morning and i went straight to the sun room so i could start painting.

i didn't care about my study right now i just needed to get this commission done.

my arm felt heavy from holding it up so much but i was so locked into finishing this. i didn't stop painting till i felt something thrown at my head it was small and light. then in my happened again.

"how long have you been doing this"
"i don't know 8 hours" i said getting more paint.
"wow woman, our mums are cooking dinner and some of team are coming over btw.

"why here?"
"i couldn't tell you actually" rose continued eating her chips loudly.
"rose i really need to focus" she didn't respond but i could tell she was still here.

a little while later i was sat staring at the painting wondering what was missing. "hey sunshine" arms wrapped around my waist and i smiled.
