Vexel POV

I stood in front of Ezara, hands up and ready to fight. She summons elemental guardians to fight for her. One was fire and the other was some sort of ash summon. I didn't even know those existed.

"I learned this from an old wizard a long time ago." She says. "Let's see how you do against an ash guardian. No necromancy this time."

"I use necromancy so I don't hurt you." I state, taking a step back from the guardians. "I don't want to hurt you like I hurt Mazavir."

Ezara sighs. "The point of this is to help you control the demon side of you. I can take it."

"Alright." I state, changing form. She stood there in shock as my bones and flesh twist and contort.

"I know what you look like... how it happens..." she starts. "It still gets me every time."

The ash guardian holds its hands forward, shooting ash into my face. I rush forward, trying to ignore the suffocating ash. I jump forward, clawing through the air. Just as I land a hit on the ash guardian, a fire ball hits me square in the back.

I turn towards the fire guardian. I look at Ezara just as she summons more guardians. She looks up at me, surrounded by fire and ash guardians. "You said you could command an army of demons. Do it." She says.

I pause, looking around. I was outnumbered. I take a deep breath and portals open around me. Demons of all types pour through them and begin attacking the guardians. It was as if I could send out silent commands and they would obey.

"So the Prime Evil of torture returns." A familiar voice states from amongst the demons. "And he's training with a human. A powerful one."

"Andariel." I state, my voice coming out in a deep distorted tone. I knew who the Maiden of Anguish was even if I wasn't a demon. "What are you doing here?"

"You know I'd always follow you, Vyriviz." She responds. The lesser evil looked half human half lizard and she had four barbed limbs protruding out of her back.

"My place isn't in Hell anymore, Andariel." I respond. "I'm not the Vyriviz you knew. Return to your own realm."

"I knew you weren't really him. I'd find him here, torturing humans." Andariel spits. "You have his power but you are not him."

"I'm not here to fight you." I respond, my voice stern. "Return to your realm, now."

Andariel pauses. "I will do as you wish." She states. "Only because I sense your power. You're stronger then you were before." A wicked smile crosses her face. "It will torture your brothers to know this." She disappears through one of the invading portals. I sigh an change back to my human form. I command the demons to leave and Ezara's guardians disappear.

"That was... interesting." I open a portal back to the house. We step through the portal together.

"Andariel used to work along side me when I was only Vyriviz. Anguish and torture go hand in hand so I'm not surprised." I respond.

"Andariel?" Mazavir approaches us.

"She found us in Hell." Ezara explains.

"I understand why he's still here, but how are you unscathed?" He asks Ezara.

"I told her to leave." I respond. "She might be a lesser evil, but she knew fighting me was a battle she couldn't win. There's also more to it. She worked with me when I was just Vyriviz."

"Maybe she's still somewhat loyal to you." Mazavir responds. "I personally think we could use a lesser evil. Maybe not now, but it could come in handy."
