Aaron couldn't stop bouncing excitedly as they got ready to roam the city today. They'd visit markets, fairs, malls and other historical places, and he couldn't wait.
Destiny chuckled as she unlocked the car and Aaron climbed inside immediately, buckling himself.
"Kayde, I need you and Alex for today. No one else. Aaron doesn't like too much guards around. Keep your distance so he doesn't notice. But be on alert. I don't want any mistake. Mind it."
Kayde nodded grimly, hands clasped behind and eyes trained ahead, just like an army man.
"Yes, ma'am."
Destiny nodded at him and waved a hand at the other group of security to dismiss them off before walking around to get in the sports car she had bought just to travel around here.
"Seatbelt baby, put it properly." She shook her head with a fond chuckle when she noticed Aaron's seatbelt wasn't inserted correctly.
Aaron quickly fixed it and giggled, excitedly looking around. Destiny's heart warmed and she lingered her eyes at her lover a bit longer then started the car.
Aaron's eyes kept staring outside as trees and sceneries passed by, he was in awe, he had never been out of the city he grew up in and it was all new and very nerving for him.
Destiny's smile never disappeared as she often glanced at the child-like joy on her husband's face, it fulfilled her heart with a sense of contentment.
As if she did something right in her life, and it made her proud of herself, proud of how far they have come. Together. Because their marriage wasn't just on papers anymore, it had become much more than that.
This agreement, it had blossomed their life into something so beautiful, pure.
Destiny was determined to keep it for as long as she shall live.
"Ottie, look!" Aaron pointed to another peach tree on the roadside.
Destiny chuckled and made a surprised face and praised the beauty of nature just as Aaron loved doing so. It made him smile wider and that's all mattered to Destiny.
They went to a huge park first. It was glorious and had a huge fountain, a small lake with swan boats to float around. Aaron couldn't stop squealing as they cycled the boat around the lake and fed the ducks some breads.
Aaron even pet some's head but got bit in return which made him pout and scold that duck for about a minute. Destiny laughed and had to give his hand a kiss to cure it better afterwards.
Then they found a small fair and enjoyed several games there, danced along when a man was strumming his guitar and singing 'Perfect'. Their laughter and giggles filled the air along with applause from the crowd.
Bowing at them, the couple left and headed to their next destination, the biggest mall in the city. They bought souvneirs for their family and other stuff then put them in the car.
Aaron really wanted to look at the horses at the club. So, Destiny brought him there and he even managed to muster up enough courage to take a ride around the area by the help of a trainer obviously.
The horse was gorgeous, black and brown, with very gentle traits. Aaron fed it some carrots later before they left the stable.
They went to grab some food at a café nearby then returned to the park from earlier to eat there, watching the last light of the day slowly setting behind the horizon. The pink hue made everything look even more vibrant and lively, and Aaron sighed happily.
Destiny scooted close and rested her head on his shoulder, interwining their fingers together on her lap. Aaron smiled and briefly kissed her temple then set his eyes at the last sun for today.
"One of the best days of my life." Aaron whispered, afraid to break the sacred silence that fell, cool breeze hitting their faces. "It seems ever since you came into my life, the list of my best days just keep going and going. I can't thank you enough."
Destiny lifted her head off his shoulder and gently cupped his cheek to make him face her, the genuine emotions danced all across his face and the brunette could happily stare at his face for eternity, carving every expression deep in her mind.
"You don't get to thank your life partner for making you happy, Aaron. It's their job to take care of their partner. Just like you do. I love you."
Aaron smiled as his eyes teared and he nodded, closing the gap between their lips. Destiny smiled into the kiss, pulling him close by tugging him by the collar while Aaron wounded his arms around her shoulders.
Their lips parted and eyes shone from the collided beats of their threaded hearts.
"I love you too, so much." Aaron whispered and kissed her lips some more.
Both were exhausted by night time and enjoyed a last dance under the starry night.
They kept the fresh veggie market visit for tomorrow and decided to call it a day and return to the villa to get some rest.
As the exhausted but satisfied pair entered the villa, Aaron suddenly realized that he had forgotten his phone in the car.
"Ottie, give me the keys. I forgot my phone in the car." He said and stood up from where he was just flopped down on the couch.
Destiny frowned. "Get it tomorrow, baby. Let's just sleep for now." She said and grabbed his hand just when she felt as if someone was standing by the window.
Her head whipped at the direction but there was no one except the curtains slowly moving along the wind.
"What is it?" Aaron asked but Destiny shook her head, handing him the keys of the car.
"Hurry back."
Aaron beamed and leaned down to kiss her lips softly. "Prepare the bath, I'll be back in a flash." He winked, murmuring against her lips then pecked her once more before jogging out of the living room.
Destiny had a stupid, lovesick smile plastered on her face as she watched his retreating figure and couldn't help but feel a longing in her heart, just wanting him back in her arms already.
