"Ah yes, oo thank you kumpadre! Mahalaga sa akin ang araw na ito..." narinig kong sabi ni Papa habang kausap sa telepono ang isa yata niyang kaibigan nang kumuha ako ng tubig sa ref. Lahat sila ay abala sa paghahanda sa mangyayaring event mamaya. Pero ako, nakadapa sa kama. Nakatunganga sa cellphone. Nakikipagtext kay Sharah. At inaantay ang text ni.... Hindi na siya magtetext Trey wag kang bading!
"Pare why u dont go outside and make love to your maids?!" Wala sa tinong sabi ni Vernon na ikinatawa namin ng malakas. Binatukan siya ni Mac at nag-asaran pa sila. Nanonood silang Catching fire dito sa TV habang nilalantakan yung pop corn na ibinigay sa kanila ng maids ko, you know what, I am thinking about firing them. They distract me too much. Not that they're all my type, pero I don't wanna be a hypocrite! They're all damn sexy and beautiful! "Hindi ako sang-ayon sa love team ni Katniss at Peetah." out of the blue Mac exclaimed as if he is a love expert, we all turned our heads on him, me, James, Luis and Vernon said "Why?" lending our ears to what he'll say next. He grabbed a pop corn and we waited till he say the reason why he said that. "Why?" He looked puzzled, fuck you Mac! We are all on the verge of praising him dahil he's kinda out pag girlfriends and such ang usapan.
"Why are you all fucking staring at me? Don't tell me nag-iba na trip niyo sa buhay? Ano mga boi? Love wins?" binatukan siya ni Vernon dahil siya ang pinakamalapit dito, ako naman napa-palo ng palad ko sa noo ko, ang buong akala ko, may kaunting dunong na sya kung paano mag mahal pero wala pa din pala. Nakatunganga kaming lahat sa speech na binigay ni Mac, there really is something happening with him! "Kasi you know I believe that Katniss' boyfriend will do the same that Peetah is doing kung sakaling siya ang kasama ni Katniss sa loob. You see the logic? Hey? Bakit kayo tulala?"
He snapped a finger at us, and then we are back to normal, he is obviously involve in a love affair. I guess hindi na namin kailangang asarin si Mac kung ano man ang namumuo sa kanila ng LDR Imaginary girl friend niya, he'll spill the beans anyway! Besides nagkaintindihan naman kaming tatlo na mag-nginitian na lang. That creeped him out though!
"Tangina niyo talaga pag ako tinalo niyo eh. May hidden desire kayong tatlo sakin all this time?" He exclaimed, we burst into laughter, nandidiri sa pinagsasasabi niya hindi ko maimagine na may isang bakla sa min, masasapak ko talaga panigurado. Magkakatabi kaming apat sa pagtulog for how many years kapag nag-o overnight kami tapos... Ugh, I dismissed the thought.
Sharah: I'm excited for later.
Ako: For the party, or to see me?
Sharah: I can manage both.
Napangiti ako sa text niya, Sharah is really adorable. I can pinch her cheeks all day if I just can.
Mga 2 P.M dumating ang suits na isusuot naming apat mamaya, ano kami F4? Pasalamat tong mga kaibigan ko at tuwang tuwa si Papa sa lahat ng kasama ko sa paglaki, aniya sila daw kasi ang dahilan kung bakit ako lumaking "good boy" even without the supervison and care of my parents. At ang tatlong loko, nagpabango ng pangalan kay Papa, its as if they taught me to do good. Ha! These guys are the reason why the funny side of me emerged.
"Ang gagwapo natin!" Luis said with laughter, lalo pa kaming natawa nang biglang lumaki ang mata ni Mac at sinabihan kami ng "Mga paminta!" he really thinks na were gays! Binatukan ko siya, baka matauhan. Tinext ko si Sharah updating her about what color will I wear, should it give her a hint na ganun din ang suotin? Not that it really matters, I just find it sweet.
As soon as we finished fitting our suits, we got down to eat lunch, yeah it's late afternoon na, kasalanan 'to ni Katniss. While we are eating, a girl emerged from our dining door! She is going to Papa's way with all smiles and she offered him a hug. I shrugged, sino 'to? Babae ni Papa? Kinantyawan namin si Papa at natawa naman siya sa mga pinagsasasabi namin.
"It's so rude of you na hindi mo na ako matandaan couz!" napa-ilag ako bigla dahil niyakap din ako ng babaeng kakarating lang, and did she just call me couz? How rude of her too! I prefer her to call me love, if by any chance fate decided to match us. Well, that's odd.
"Trey! How could you?!" Bakas ang pagkatawa ni Papa sa reaksyon ko, what? I can't really remember her!
"That's a first Tito, anyway for the sake of your short-term-memory, I am the ever gorgeous Amirah Joseff. Your cousin who brought you here. Did you just forgot about my name?" Napa-face palm ako, oo nga. How could I ever forget that woman who bragged herself inside of my house just because her stilettos are too high! I apologized to her at nagtawanan lang kami.
"Well. Di naman mapagkakailang magpinsan kayo ni Trey, the two of you just can't get enough of yourselves. Parehas kayong conceited. Di naman kayo ganun kaganda, well Trey became an exception he's my friend." Natahimik kaming lahat at napatingin kay Luis who did such a wonderful gesture of insulting my cousin, aminado naman akong I'm conceited, well! I do have many reasons to be conceited at all, no problem with that, but Amirah, I think she's not used to those kind of remarks.
"Wait, what? Walang masama sa sinabi ko. I am just stating a fact." Nagpipigil kaming tatlo sa tawa, si Vernon magaling tumawa ng silent, si Mac namumula na ang mukha same with Papa and me, I am just letting out a pogi smile, yung hanggang tenga ganun kasi kaming mga pogi. While Amirah is not good at containing her irritation with Luis in here she is now giving him death glares.
She kissed Papa and I goodbye and binulungan kami na I'll see you later guys. Good shot, naka-score ako. I thought. But before she went outside, she got close to Luis as if she wanted to kiss him, Nilapit niya ang mukha niya sabay sabing, "Don't you dare, fall in love with me!"
And... The next thing we knew, Luis is now wet... With a glass full of water Amirah just poured him.
We burst out laughing! You kinda deserve it Moron!
