3. Delivery to 13

Kaimann had a lot of explaining to do, after we returned from our wild goose chase. My clothes were completely slashed by his knives; thankfully it still covered most of my body. Nikaido gave me one of her overalls, while she got closer to the lizard man, he moved backwards.

"What did you do to my customer?!"

"Nothing...she fell over."

Nikaido's eyes darkened, "You can tell that your grandma! What did really happen?"

He refused to say, answering with all kind of ridiculous excuses. Nikaido knew he was the cause of it, but for what she was aiming for, was an apology. Kaimann doesn't feel the lightest bit of guilt for his actions. For his friend a good opportunity to punish him, "If that is what you want...then no gyozas for a week!"

Kaimann's body got tense, "What?! You can't do that!!!!"

She winked at him, "I can, unless you apologize to my customer at once."

"NEVER!"

Nikaido suddenly smirked, "I can turn it to a month...if you refuse."

"You are evil Nikaido!!!"

She shrugged, not caring for his complains. Pushing him upstairs to her room, Nikaido told him to be as friendly as possible...or else. His body was shaking, but not from the situation he is in...it was more the lack of gyozas that affected him the most. Pretending to put on a friendly smile, he came in. I was already dressed, looking out the window. The reflection from the glass, I didn't have to turn my head to see who it was. Hoping that Nikaido would come up to see me, no, he shows up. Kaimann stood there and didn't say a word, while his hand kept rubbing the back of his neck.

I sighted at the uncomfortable silenced, "What do you want?"

"...apologize..."

Turning my head around, I stared at him, "I am listening."

His light smile turned to a frown, "...an apology from you."

"Excuse me?!"

The frown got deeper, "You ate my gyozas, so you should apologize to me."

"The ones I bought have been eaten by you and above all, you tried to kill me!"

He shrugged, "...it was an emergency."

"Emergency my ass, I am not going to apologize for something you screwed up!"

"I was hungry!!!!"

"Well sorry to let your stomach rumble your highness!!!"Not to discuss this any further, I went passed him, "I let Nikaido know about this."

Kaimann nodded, "Indeed, tell her that I apologized."

To his surprise, I agreed with him, smiling evil, "you are absolutely right...I tell her that 'I' apologized."

"Wait that is not what I meant!" it was a matter of time, as he came after me, running down the stairs to catch up. Before even one word could escape my lips, a large hand kept it shut. Nikaido heard the loud noise, looking suspicious at us, "What are you doing Kaimann?" he held me from behind, one hand at my mouth and the other around my waist, "She almost fell over, so I helped." "And why holding her mouth?" she asked curious. Kaimann didn't pay attention as I removed his hand, "he didn't want me to trip over my words either." Nikaido had the feeling that this turned into another pointless fight, changing the subject, "Anyway, I got a job for you two."

"Us?" surprised, the lizard man I looked at each other skeptical.

"Yes, the both of you, deliver this to thirteen. He must be at the hospital at the moment."

Kaimann didn't like it, "Can't she do this by herself?" referring to me. Nikaido only had to mention the one month punishment to get the lizard man going. Grabbing my hand rather harsh, he dragged me along. Nikaido feels a little bit uneasy of this, hoping that she didn't made a terrible mistake just now.

"Hey, can't you slow down a bit?!"

I could hardly keep up with his speed. Kaimann didn't care; he just wanted to get this over with. This, thirteen guy, is not someone he wants to be around for too long.

"Hey ugly, will you stop running?!"

Suddenly, he stopped, "Shut up woman!" I didn't stop there. Whenever I said something regarding his head, it got him to stop in his tracks, shouting back at me. It went on like that till we reached the hospital. Pulling towards the third floor, I clicked my tongue, "Isn't your appointment for face-lifting next week?"

He had enough, "Listen up you, I am sick and tired of your insults! I am actually a handsome guy; women would fall for me instantly!"

"...you mean lizard females right?"

"You want a fight?!!!"

Pulling my hand away, our faces got closer to another, "Bring it on!!!" Kaimann wouldn't hesitate to give me a right slam in the face, if it wasn't for a voice to distract him from doing so.

"...ehm excuse me, Kaimann?"

Looking behind him, the lizard man was irritated, "Yeah, yeah, what is it Doc?" There was no one behind him, at least not a human being. A long figure with long black hair was facing him upside down. Kaimann screamed out at the creature, jumping on to me for dear life. Since I was only half the size he was, I was slammed to the floor, with him on top. "Get off me, this is just a ghost!"

"I hate ghosts!!!"

"I am over here", said the voice once more. Kaimann shrieked, "Ghost!!!" His hug just knocked out the last bit of breath from my lungs, while I was gasping for air. The figure behind me pulled Kaimann off me, while another helped me up, "You are not hurt are you?" I shook my head, "Just out of breath." Still frightened by the dark creature on the ceiling, Kaimann kept close to me, holding my arm tight. The two men guided us to another room, where another man waited. By the looks of his shirt, he must be the man we been looking for or it has to be a room in the hospital. The other two men were both doctors, as they told me later on. The youngest of the three surprised me the most, as he announced to be the oldest afterwards. He had fun playing tricks with me, while the other doctor, who was having grids on his face, was arguing with Kaimann. Obviously, it was a common trait from lizard guy. The man with the shirt was really known as thirteen, waiting for us to deliver the letter. Kaimann just threw the item over to him, feeling annoyed by all this. Thirteen didn't open it though, his interest was more directed at me, "Well hello there beautiful, I never seen you around here."

I smiled a little uncomfortable, "I am new here."

The young doctor seems to be just as interested, grabbing my hand, "Welcome to hole, I am Kasukabe, you can also call me Haze."

"I am N/A, nice to meet you."

The other doc introduced himself next, "I am Vaux. How come you are walking around with this guy?" He pointed at Kaimann that felt irritated by all the staring, "What?" I shrugged, "Bad luck I guess." Thirteen smiled wide, "If you want you can stay here." This was music to the lizard man, "She is all yours." I looked at Kaimann, than back at thirteen. The guy kept holding my hands tenderly, "Such a delicate flower should be around other beauties, like me." I shuddered, not sure where he is going with this. From the distance, something stomped back over to us. Suddenly, an arm was wrapped around my stomach, pulling me into someone's chest, "We are going." Looking up, I saw a very annoyed Kaimann, holding me close against him. Since he is taller than me, he could easily carry me around. Why didn't he do that sooner, instead of dragging me around?

Thirteen didn't see a problem at his words, looking at the other two men, "What did I say?"
