37. Leave and die

My body was trembling, as the sorcerer in red kept walking around me in circles. He didn't say anything, just stared, not making a single sound. I have no idea what he was thinking just now.

En was not really sure what to do with me. His first intention was to get rid of me, but on the other hand, he didn't have such a reliable servant for a long item. Almost everyone he hired had been messing things up and this on the very first day. Above all, the humans aren't bothering him with investigations on partner search. The blue night might be over, but a few are already trying to get along with a new one. En unfortunately, is a main target of such sorcerers. With the amount my body shook, I could have made milkshakes by now, holding them in my hands and voila. He really takes his sweet time to kill someone, is he into torture? The sorcerer in red seems to be not sure himself, "Very well..." opening his mask, I feared the next move, "...those are the rules of this world" Not to see it coming, I shut my eyes tight.

"Good evening En"

Oh no, I know that voice and so does the sorcerer in red. En wasn't pleased to see the devil at his window, "Chidaruma, is there a reason to for you to come here of all days?"

"Indeed I have, it involves this one" he said, pointing at me, "Prefer if you don't kill her just yet."

"Those are the rules of this world, you should know that Chidaruma"

The devil chuckled, "And you seem to forget, that those rules are made by devils. I see no reason to demolish your precious servant." En gave me a look, "You think?"

"Although, there is one condition"

The sorcerer knew there was a demand. Chidaruma allowed me to live, under the condition, that I will never leave the world of sorcerers again, "If she breaks this rule, you have my permission to turn her into your next meal." En didn't find it too bad, "And I can keep her as my personal servant, she will not break it..." his deadly glare was terrifying, "...I will personally take care of that." Chidaruma liked the feeling of the atmosphere, where he feels excited, En pleased and me...about to shit myself. The sorcerer in red also wanted to be sure of who he has around; refusing any sort of uniform that resembles the other servants. He should have said that after the devil left. Chidaruma and En got together, discussing an outfit for me. I didn't like the way the devil chuckled, so evil...

Other than En, he was rather surprised, "What? She was the woman from the party?!"

Why did he have to tell him that?! Chidaruma chuckled, "Cool eh?" The sorcerer in red nodded, "And where did she get the dress from?" The devil laughed deeply, telling without feeling bad about it, that they stole it from his collection and that they designed the mask. En has no chance against the devil, sighting, "Please don't do that again...as for the mask, can you make a new one?" For the devil is it an honor, "Sure thing, I look forward to see you again En..." while grinning in my direction, "...and you too." In my mind I was sighting loud relieved, seeing this huge creature with wings to leave through the window, until En stopped him, "Wait, we do have to discuss a few more things later on." Whatever it is, I wasn't invited.

Kaiman was inside the estate and already had the right uniform to wear; all he needed was information of where Nikaido is held.

Only to get involved by a bunch of other servants, "Hey what are you doing here...the toilets don't clean themselves." A shudder went down his spine, "Not again..." The group grabbed him and got the lizard man towards the gents, "Get started!" Kaiman asked them, by changing his voice a little, on where Nikaido is. The servants looked at each other, "Who is that?"

"You don't know her?"

They shrugged, "We are not from around here."

It was quite hard to tell, if the rules in this world were actually taken seriously. Since there are more than enough humans in this world, not all had to face a death sentence, some may just get caught and sold off as slaves. One also tells the lizard man, that these collectors even hunt down humans in Hole, only to get a good price for them. Kaiman's blood was boiling, feeling nothing but hatred for these sorcerers. Nikaido was an exception, since she won't use her magic on others. The lizard man asked them something else, "Do you know this place a little?" one knew where the bed chambers are, while having the tasks to clean them every day; the other knew all bathrooms and changing rooms. Kaiman sighted, "and other places?" The shook their heads, until one mentioned, that everyone had their own personal area to take care of, he could ask them for direction. But not before he had done his own job. The lizard man may be green in the face already, but the smell was just unbearable, "Who the hell smells like that?!"

One sighted as well, "It is the devil toilet and the smell is just to wind up the servants."

"I hate devils, I hate sorcerers!" chanted Kaiman, while he held the toilet brush in his hands. Just the thought that he doesn't it all for Nikaido, is it worth doing the dirty work. At least he got one girl that is safe in Hole.
