"When I set my sights on something I want I go after it! And I always get what I want!" That's what Lena said to Sam as she sat on the couch next to her friend and CFO. "And what about women? Does that work for when you set your sights on a certain blonde? Are you gonna not stop till you get her?" Sam asked. Lena didn't respond immediately. Instead she found herself mindlessly fiddling with the watch that Kara gave her for anytime she needed the blondes altar ego Supergirl. "Well Lena?" Sam asked again. "Yes! I will get Kara to be mine by the end of today! Watch and see!" Lena stated. "What about Lucy? Isn't she dating or attempting to date Kara?" Sam asked.

Lena rolled her eyes at her friend and scoffed. "Lucy Lane, has nothing on me! Just because her older sister is dating Kara's cousin doesn't mean anything. I've known Kara longer! And she's my best friend and my savior, as you know from dating Alex." Lena stated. "So what are you waiting for? Go get your girl!" Sam exclaimed just as Jess popped her head in the office. "Miss Luthor, Kara is here!" "Thank you Jess! Send her in!" Lena stated. "I'll see you later! Nice to see you Kara!" Sam says greeting the blonde with a quick hug before leaving. "See you this weekend Sam! Girls night remember!" Kara added as Sam left nodding at her.

"Kara!" Lena exclaimed happily as she embraced the blond in tight hug. "Hey Lee! How are you? I brought Big Belly Burger and some milkshakes!" Kara stated as she put the stuff down on the coffee table and took a seat next to Lena. "So I hear girls night is still on! That's good! I have a new game we can all try!" Lena stated. "Oh?" Kara asked. "Yea! But first, I have a question for you." Lena stated looking at the blonde.

"Ok? What is it?" Kara asked. Lena let out a long sigh as she sorted through her head on how to ask Kara out without freaking her out and ruining their friendship. "Lee? What is it?" Kara asked. "Would you like to go to this LCorp Gala with me? As my date? It's to help support the new children's hospital. I invited everyone else in our friend group including Lucy..." Lena said with a groan. "Don't like Lucy?" Kara asked. "Oh...shes fine...I guess..." Lena stated. "What is it?" Kara asked. "Are you two dating?" Lena asked. "Me? And Lucy Lane? No! I mean...she's nice and beautiful and all...but I've got my eyes on someone else  entirely..." Kara replied. "Oh? What's he like?" Lena asked. "He? It's a she...actually...I don't know if you've noticed...but I'm gay!" Kara stated.

Lena couldn't stop the smile that appeared on her lips. Kara's words were music to her ears. "So she is gay! And shes' single...now to find out who she's got her eyes on...I'll ask Alex...she'll know!" "Well, my gowns deep blue just so you don't get a clashing color. I could go with you tonight to get a gown if you like?" Lena suggested. "I was gonna see if Sam could go with me..since I'm going to be your date, my gown should be a surprise to you...but we can do something after, if you like?" Kara suggested. "Of course! How about we have a movie night at my place tonight after!" Lena stated. "Alright! I'll stop by my place after and grab some clothes for work. I should be going now though...I'll see you later Lee." Kara stated as they parted ways with a long hug that caused both their hearts to race.
