Upon re entering the ball room everyone's eyes were glued to the pouty lips of Lena and Kara. Sam and Alex shared a knowing look at the couple as they made their way to the dance floor. "Everyone's watching you Kar...." Lena whispered with a hint of jealousy in her voice. "Who's everyone? All I see is you Lee." Kara replied calming Lena's fears and insecurities. Lena pulled Kara int her arms as the music began. They were so close that even a piece of paper couldn't be slid between them. Green eyes locked onto blue ones as they spun around and around the dance floor.

The song 'wanna be yours' began to play over the dj's speakers as everyone stood on the side lines watching the CEO and the reporter danced to the music.

"I wanna be your vacuum cleaner...Breathing in your dust...I wanna be your Ford Cortina..I will never rust...If you like your coffee hot...Let me be your coffee pot...You call the shots, babe...I just wanna be yours...Secrets I have held in my heart...Are harder to hide than I thought...Maybe I just wanna be yours...I wanna be yours, I wanna be yours...Wanna be yoursWanna be yours...Wanna be yours..." Lena sang the words to Kara as they continued their dancing.

Kara spun Lena out and then back in again before dipping her down and pulling her back up flush against her body just as the song ended. "Shall we leave?" Lena whispered. "Is that allowed?" Kara replied. "Not really..but I am the CEO, and Sam's still here..." Lena took a deep breath before continuing. "And I'd be lying if I just want to leave so I can ravish my girlfriend..." Lena's confession caused Kara to blush slightly. "Let's get out of here!" Kara exclaimed as they headed for the exit.

However just before they could get outside someone called their names causing them to halt in their footsteps. "Cat..." Kara began. "Grant...." Lena finished the sentence. "Lena! Keira!" Cat called out as the sounds of heels clicking frantically behind them. "Yes Miss Grant?" Kara asked as they turned around. Cat looked between them closely examining their faces. "It's about fucking time!" Cat exclaimed happily smiling at them.

"Excuse me? What are you talking about Cat?" Lena asked. Cat let out a huff. "You two! It's about time you two got together! I swear you two were so oblivious for years! I watched you two drool over one another for years...well prior to my sabbatical....but nonetheless I'm glad to see you two finally used your brains for something other than science stuff...and supergirl and reporter stuff...I however do expect an invitation to the wedding!" With that Cat turned on her heel and disappeared back into the party leaving Kara and Lena shocked.
