Later that night everyone was at Lena and Kara's place for dinner. "We brought the wine!" Alex states as she and Sam enter the condo with Eliza in toe. "Oh good! Dinners almost ready. Lena's just finishing it up now." Kara stated. "It smells good Lee!" Sam adds as they sit a the table. A few minutes later Lena's bringing out the dishes full of food. "Ok everyone dig in! There's plenty of stuff for everyone there's plenty of everything!" Lena said. Everyone scooped up platefuls of lasagna onto their plates along with garlic knots. "So? What is the reason for this dinner?" Eliza asked. "No reason. Just figured that with you in town we'd all get together for a nice dinner." Lena replied.

"Well there's always a reason to eat food!" Sam stated with a smile. "I agree with Sam!" Kara replied with a smile. After that everyone ate in a comfortable silence. "Are you excited for the gala?" Alex asked looking at Eliza. "Yes! I'm looking forward to it. Thank you Kara for inviting me." Eliza replied. "You're welcome!" Kara replied with a smile. "So does everyone have their gowns ready?" Alex asked. "Yea, we got ours a while ago." Kara replied. "Mom did you get one?" Alex asked. "Oh yes! I got one the other day." Eliza replied.

After diner was over everyone went home or to the hotel to the night leaving Kara and Lena alone once again. "Tonight was fun! I'm glad Eliza came here early!" Kara added. "I'm glad she did to darling. Are you ready for bed? We have a long day tomorrow. Did you write your speech love?" Lena asked as they got ready for bed. "Oh yes I did...but you'll have to wait till tomorrow night to hear it." Kara added. "That's ok darling. I can wait that long." Lena replied as she pulled the blonde into her arms kissing her cheek as sleep over took them.
