After dinner Kara walked upstairs with Lena to help her get into some comfortable clothes. "Do you want your fuzzy socks?" Kara asked. "Please." Lena replied. Kara pulled them out of the suitcase and slipped them on her feet. "Anything else love?" Kara asked as she looked up at Lena. "I'm sorry...I'm sorry for being grumpy at you over hot sauce." Lena whispered. "It's ok Lee, I'm not mad. I never was. Are you ready to go downstairs? Or are you wanting to call it a night?" Kara asked. "I think I'm gonna call it a night. Can you go tell mom we're gonna go to bed please?" Lena asked. "Of course love. I'll be right back." Kara replied.

Kara walked back down to the living room where Elizabeth was sitting. "Everything ok?" Elizabeth asked. "Yes, Lena and I are just gonna call it a night. Lena's already in bed and won't go to sleep until I'm in there with her. She asked me to come tell you that." Kara replied. "Oh, alright. Well thank you for telling me Kara, go back to your wife, before you wind up on the sofa again." Elizabeth replied with a smile. "Goodnight Elizabeth." Kara replied before she headed upstairs again.

Lena was sitting up in bed when Kara returned. "You ok love?" Kara asked. "Yes. How's mom doing?" Lena asked. "She's on the sofa, she told me to hurry back up here before I wound up on the sofa again." Kara joked. Lena smiled as she patted the bed. "I need cuddles. Athena is missing you." Lena cooed. "Oh is she? Let me get undressed really quick and I'll join you." Kara said.

A minute later Kara was in bed with Lena, rubbing her hand over Lena's belly. "You miss me already sweetheart? Momma's here darling." Kara cooed. Gentle kicks could be felt from the unborn baby. "Someone's happy now." Lena whispered. "Good, are you ready to go to sleep?" Kara asked. "Yes." Lena replied as they lay back on the bed. Lena lay on her side with Kara's arms around her acting as the big spoon.
