Over the next few weeks work was busy for both woman. Lucy had stopped bothering Kara. Which the blonde was thankful for. Lena was excited to spend an actual holiday with her girlfriend and family. Growing up Lena didn't have good experience with holidays. Her parents said that holidays were just another day. However since getting with Kara she'd been exposed to a normal family and she loved every minute of it. They were coming up on their sixth month anniversary and Lena had a plan in mind...she just needed some help getting everything she'd need.

Kara was just finishing up with a meeting when Sam walked into her office. "Sam! This is a surprise! Is everything ok?" Kara asked curiously. "Oh yes! I just came to see how everything was going with you." Sam replied with a smile. "I literally just saw you yesterday at lunch with Lena. Oh Rao! Has something happened to Lena?" Kara asked her eyes wide. "No! Lena's perfectly fine. She's out of the office though, so I thought I'd come have lunch with you." Sam replied.

"Oh..ok then...what's Lena doing?" Kara asked. "Uh..I think shes doing some Christmas shopping with Alex..." Sam lied. Well it was a partial lie...Lena was with Alex...and Eliza picking out an engagement ring for Kara. "Oh...is that safe?" Kara replied laughing. "I don't know...but I have bail money if necessary!" Sam replied with a smile. "Don't jinx it!" Kara replied with a laugh.

Meanwhile in a high end jewelry store three woman were examining engagement rings. Lena had borrowed one of Kara's rings she wore and pocketed it so she'd have an idea of the size. "Can I help you ladies?" Asked an older woman. "Uh yes! I'd like to see your best engagement rings in this size!" Lena stated holding Kara's ring in her hand. The older woman took it and examined it before nodding and walking towards the back. When she returned a moment later she had a box in her hands. She opened it to reveal a beautiful selection of very expensive rings. "Is this for you miss?" She asked eying Alex. "Oh no! My sister! I'm just here to help pick one out!" Alex exclaimed. "Oh I see. Do you have a specific type in mind?" The woman asked returning to Lena. "Yes...I have a drawing of it right here." Lena said handing over the drawing she did in her office earlier today. "And I'd like two matching bracelets just like the picture. With a blue stone here and a green one heart with this on the inside." Lena explained.

The woman looked them over and nodded. "I can have these ready in two weeks." She stated. "Good! I'll be back for them." Lena replied. "Name?" The older woman asked. "Luthor!" Lena replied as they left the shop.
