You Belong With Me!

The barn was well decorated. The lights twinkled perfectly. The food was set out on several tables along the walls of the old barn. Kara sat in her room in front of the mirror looking at herself. She had on a beautiful white gown, her hair done up in tight curls. Light makeup adorned her face. She was ready to be married to the woman who held her heart in her hands. On the opposite side of the small house sat Lena in front of a mirror taking in her appearance. She had on a white gown, her hair straightened out down her back and light makeup on her face and lips. She closed her eyes and let out a long breath she was holding in. "I'm getting married today." She whispered to the wind.

A few minutes later the people who would be walking the brides to the barn and down the aisle appeared at the bedroom doors. "Are you all set?" Barry Allen asked Lena who nodded. "Thanks again Barry for doing this for us." Lena said. "No thanks needed! I'm happy to help some of my favorite people get married." Barry replied. "Has Kara left with Winn?" Len asked. "Yes. They're just a minute ahead of us." Barry replied. "How does she look?" Lena asked. "Like an angel." Barry replied with a smile. "Is J'onn ready?" Lena asked. "Yes. He's standing at the alter now,ready and waiting." Barry stated. "Good....Barry?" Lena asked. "Yes Lena?" Barry replied. "Don't let me fall..." Lena replied. "I promise I won't let you fall." Barry replied.

Winn and Kara just entered the barn and made their way down the aisle after Sam and Alex walked down in their white suits. "Winn if you make me fall I'll murder you." Kara whispered. "I won't do that Kara." Winn replied smirking at his long time friend. When they approached the alter they stopped and Winn kissed Kara's cheek before returning to stand next to Eliza. "She's absolutely beautiful." Eliza whispered.

A few short minutes later the music began playing again as Lena made her appearance in the opening of the barn. Barry and she walked to the alter where Barry like Winn took pause and kissed the cheek of the bride before sitting down next to his own wife Iris.  The barn was full of family and friends all watching as Lena and Kara turned to one another and gently wiped a stray tear from their eyes. "You look so beautiful!" They both said together. J'onn cleared his throat getting the women to look at him before returning their gaze to one another.

"Welcome friends, and family of these two wonderful women. I myself have seen Kara here grow from a cheeky teenager into the amazing woman you see before you. I've also seen her partner Lena here grow from a closed off human who thought the whole world was against her to the woman you see before us. The day Kara met Lena I knew that their love was meant to be. Yes...they had a rocky relationship at times but the love they share for one another is as strong as it gets.

Love is a great thing. When you find it you hold onto it with every fiber of your being. Lena found not only love in Kara but she found a friend too. Our strange little family quickly welcomed Lena with open arms. We watched their love story from the beginning. Now before we loose ourselves to our emotions I want to say how happy I am to be the one who marries off these two amazing women. Kara and Lena have decided to write their own vows so now I'll take pause and let them read them to one another...." J'onn stopped and stepped back letting Kara and Lena pull out slips of paper from their dress pockets.

Kara's vows:
"Lena....words can't describe how I feel about you. I've written and rewritten these vows at least a million times over...noting seemed perfect to describe how I feel about our love. Meeting you was fate...becoming your friend was by choice, telling you my secret was another choice...however falling for your deep green eyes, your beautiful laugh, your quirkiness, your good days, and bad days...and your moody mornings when you don't sleep well was all written in the stars. It was meant to be that we met like we did. It was fate that pushed us together and our bond that kept us together. There is no one in this universe I'd rather share my life with. Our bond would be what would draw me to you in every universe there is. I love you Lena...and I am glad we're going to be married today..."

Lena wiped a tear from her face as she listened to Kara's beautiful vow. "How the heck am I supposed to top that? Kara...before you I didn't believe in love, or relationships, I even tried pushing you away at first. However you chiseled away at my armor and melted the ice around my heart. You brought the sunshine into my dark world, your laughter fills my heart with glee, your smile shines brighter than any star out there. You know me better than I know myself...and at first it scared me. I wanted to run..to push you away...but now matter what I did to deter you...you just kept showing me how much I needed you in my life. Waking up to your smiling face and your beautiful blue eyes quickly became my favorite thing. Watching you with your family and friends made me yearn to keep this bond between us. I stand here before you today, pledging my undying devotion to you. You are it for me Kara Zor-El Danvers. You are my home, my heart and my soul. I love you today, I'll love you tomorrow and I'll love you forever."

Kara wiped a tear from her eyes as J'onn continued his speech. Alex and Sam passed the rings and bracelets forward. "Lena...with this ring I vow to love you always. With this bracelet I vow to be bound to you under Rao's great light...knowing that we'll be together both here in the physical world and in Rao's land, when our time here is over." Kara stated.

"Kara... with this ring I vow to love you forever and always, I vow to be your faithful wife in every sense of the word. With this bracelet I vow to be bound to you under Rao's great light knowing that we will be together here in the physical world and in Rao's land when our time here is ended...I love you Kara..." Lena replied.

"With the power invested in me by the internet...I now pronounce you wife and wife! You may kiss the bride!" J'onn announced and both women leaned into one another as they shared a heated kiss.
