(Catnap's POV)

After a long game of tag, we all decided that the next thing we would play was Hide And Seek, one of Dogday's favorites, he always liked hiding with me.

He said he felt safe near me, that he felt as if he could depend on me if he needed it.

...

I'm glad he felt that way.

I'm glad he felt like he needed me.

This time around in hide and seek, it was Bubba's turn to be the seeker, so me and Dogday hid in one place we never had thought of before.

His house.

We quickly ran up the stairs, laughing and giggling as we hid in Dogday's room, hiding behind his bed.

"They're never gonna find us in a million years! This is the best hiding spot ever...!" Dogday whispered in excitement.

I liked seeing Dogday this happy, happy and content, knowing we were a good team.

It made me happy, knowing that Dogday was excited that we could play this together, that I was with him.

It made me excited, knowing that something as simple as my presence could make Dogday this happy. I was always over protective of Dogday, I felt that he was vulnerable without me, that he only belonged to me.

I was happy knowing that he was comfortable with me here, I was happy we were friends.

Although I guess I sort of wished... We were something more, but... I don't know why I all of the sudden thought of this.

Maybe I... I should take advantage of this time alone with him... Only if he wants to... Would he?-

"Hellooooo? Earth to Catnap...!" Dogday waved his hand in front of my face, and I had snapped out of my thoughts.

He looked like he was worried about me, how long was I zoned out for? I couldn't have been thinking about him for that long right?

"Alright, so far, nobody has come in here, I think we might win again! This will be the second time this week!" Dogday exclaimed quietly, still full of energy.

Without thinking, I hopped over the bed and silently locked to door, I looked back to see Dogday peer out from behind the bed, looking confused.

"Wha- Hey, Catnap...! You can't do that! That's cheating...!" Dogday whined.

I sat on the edge of the bed, next to where Dogday was hiding, and then I started talking.

"Dogday... How do you feel about me?" I asked.

"W- What? What do you mean? You're my best friend...! Do you think I don't like you?" Dogday asked nervously.

"I'll be honest, Dogday, I've known you for a long time, and I... I just..." I stammered as Dogday put his hand on mine.

"Catnap, if you're having trouble believing I still think you're my friend, just trust me, you are the best friend I've ever had..." Dogday said before I quickly cut them off.

"Dogday, I... I think I like you, but... Not as a friend... As something bigger." I said, making Dogday blush.

"Y- You mean... You... like like me...?" Dogday said, continuing to blush.

I got down to Dogday's level again and held his face in one hand, pulling him closer to me with the other.

"Yes, and I'm tired of hiding my feelings, I... I want to do something... special, but only with you, you're the only one I'm comfortable with in this..." I said, beginning to blush slightly, my face turning a darker shade of purple from this.

Dogday held my hand on his face, blushing even more as he started looking nervous, then he spoke.

"B- But we're playing a game... We can't just... Do that..." Dogday said as I made us both stand up.

"Well... Maybe later...? Please...?" I asked, seeming desperate, I genuinely only wanted to hear Dogday say "yes".

"...We'll... If you're really THAT desperate for me... I'll tell you what, as long as we're quiet... I'll do whatever you want with you..." Dogday said, blushing.

All I could do was smile slightly, and before he knew it, I had laid him down on the bed and gotten on top of him.

I had gently pinned Dogday's hands to the bed and started kissing his neck, Dogday shivering and whining from how fast I was taking this.

I quickly slowed the action down and gently nipped and kissed at his neck, hearing slightly moans and soft whines from him.

"A- Ah... Catnap be gentle...! I'm fragile..." Dogday pleaded as I slowed down the assault on his neck, and simply kissed him on his neck once before sitting up.

I was about to take this moment farther, but we both heard what sounded like footsteps coming up the stairs.

"Uh oh, they're here...! Quick, get off me!" Dogday whispered as I quickly unlocked the bedroom door before hiding behind the bed with Dogday.

The door opened as all we both heard was a simple...

"There you guys are! We were looking everywhere for you!" We heard Bobby Bearhug say from the doorway.

After a bit of catching up, we both walked outside to find everyone relaxing outside, and... Neko... He was also there, except he was talking to KickenChicken, and he seemed to be having fun!

We joined everyone else outside, and spent the rest of the day outside until the sun set, to which everyone started to go inside their homes, waving goodbye to everyone.

Neko bid farewell to Kicken, and seemingly dashed away, Kicken simply got up and went inside his house.

Before Dogday could go anywhere, I put a hand on his shoulder before speaking.

"Dogday... Can we finish that... Thing, some other time?" I pleaded.

Dogday chuckled before speaking.

"Sure thing, just make sure you're gentle with me, don't forget, I'm sensitive." Dogday said, walking home as his tail wagged happily.

Soon after, I went home and made some tea, but instead of cinnamon, I simply put some of the red smoke in it, walking upstairs, getting in bed, then taking a sip.

And with that, I fell asleep to my own technique, slowly purring as I curled up and wrapped my tail around my leg.
