(Catnap's POV)
It had been a couple hours after me and Dogday fell asleep together, although, Neko and Maxwell had called us and invited us over, they said they had to show us something.
Me and Dogday arrived at Neko's house as we made our way inside, Neko and Maxwell sitting on the couch together, Neko looking the most excited.
"Guys, you're not going to believe this..." Neko started as Maxwell sighed a bit.
"Yeah? What is it?" Dogday asked as we both sat on the couch with them.
Maxwell then summoned a man sized portal as he held it in front of us, showing us what looked to be another dimension.
"Look closely! There's something special for you two!" Neko exclaimed as me and Dogday focused more closely on the other side.
It looked to be 2 purple and orange figures resting together, cuddling each other as the night sky pierced their bedroom.
"Hey... That kinda looks like..." Dogday murmured before I almost immediately caught on to what he meant.
"Is that us?!" I asked, concerned on how there was another pair of me and Dogday in a separate universe.
"Yes!! Turns out, this universe actually has this universe's inhabitants in some type of high school!" Neko tried explaining, but neither me nor Dogday understood.
"He's basically saying that this universe is everyone here, but just in school." Maxwell explained as he crossed his arms, Maxwell's explanation proving to be a lot more simpler to understand.
Dogday seemed really excited from this news, I was mostly intrigued by myself in the other universe, I looked especially good wearing human clothes.
"Catnap, look at how cute I look!! We look adorable together...!!" Dogday exclaimed happily as he could barely contain himself, swaying back and forth in excitement.
"Also, turns out that I'm for some reason in it... Just... A version of me that's a lot more... Unhinged..." Neko mumbled as he looked sort of concerned.
"I didn't even know there were other versions of me out there, and to top it off, this version of me suffers from schizophrenia, which they refuse to take medication for." Neko explained as me and Dogday looked confused, as we didn't know what schizophrenia was.
"Man, pretty wacky universe, seems like a pretty cool concept though! I kinda wish I was there to experience it." Dogday mumbled, still looking excited.
"Well, don't worry, I'm sure that universe has its own flaws of its own..." Neko stated as I began to ponder off, wondering what that universe could be like right now...
(IN THAT UNIVERSE)
"Hmm... Catnap...?" Dogday mumbled Catnap's name as he slowly opened his eyes to look at the slightly shorter male.
"Yeah, Dogday?" Catnap muttered quietly as Dogday shivered a bit, clinging onto Catnap's waist.
"I feel like someone's watching us..." Dogday muttered nervously as Catnap sighed a bit, patting Dogday on the back gently.
"Nobody's watching us, Dogday, we're fine..." Catnap said as he cuddled Dogday closer to him and pulled the covers a bit higher.
"C'mon, go back to sleep, we've got an essay to turn in tomorrow..." Catnap muttered as he softly kissed Dogday on his head.
"O- Okay... I- I love you..." Dogday mumbled as he slowly succumbed to sleep again.
"I love you too, Dogday..." Catnap said softly as he brushed Dogday's hair gently, both of their tails swaying back and forth in comfort.
And so, they went back to sleep, preparing for the school day ahead of them, only one more day they thought...
Just have to make it to Friday...
